Having to calculate the paths of thousands of bullets at a time would crash the server, so they can't do it the same as melee where it simply checks once if the player is in range rather than a bullet continuously 10 times a second(the client is capable 20 times a second, the server 10, but with extreme lag if done in massive amounts) IMO you should only be able to shoot 5 bullets before getting a ping back from the server, if you're lagging that bad you shouldn't be able to spam 30 bullets every 10 seconds and be invincible to projectiles as well. |

maybe we can lower the timer, yet a timer is simply better imo so you wont insta die when people spam you with guns
personally i do give a damn about what to fix and what not there are protections of when a bullet is hitting a wall/player, we dont have to check the position manually. those are also working perfectly on serverside. its just the bullets acting weird which is known generally within graals development. |
