Delaying is the current meta for sparring



70%, probably, of the current sparrers would strongly disagree with you.

Assuming you're not sparring any delayers I would consider classic sparring to be pretty fair. You can't argue that if the server was in top condition and the players had close to no lag that sparring wouldn't be fair. No other player has any advantage over the other with the exception of personal experience which is completely fair.

How many spars, not wins, just spars do you have?

If you actually sparred enough, you would know that you don't actually avoid delayers, unless you are selective sparring.

A little over 1900. I'm positive. Most my friends are sparrers though and I've had this conversation with them many times. They would agree with me. I can't speak for all sparrers though but I guess you can, 70% of them. My point was that the actual sparring system is quite fair if it meant no lag. But there will always be connection problems.

Banning cheating unequivocally removes spontaneity and the glory of the most passionate, creative, computer savvy loyal fans. You start weeding out fanboys, and your game will suck; but you are entitled to your opinion.

Well, obviously if there is no lag, then it would be fair. You were talking about the current meta, and you said it was fair. It's not, and I don't think it can ever be changed, unless somehow delay was a non-factor.

Delay isn't hard to beat, just only when the server is at 4000+, it's pretty annoying, when they know how to use it decently.

You only have 1,900 matches. You are still relatively new, and your will to spar has not been broken yet

Lmao shut up aguzo I'm not new by any means of the word. Been playing since Q1 of 2010, I thought people knew I was Tare or TarePanda whatever you wanna call me idc. Anyways, my stats have been reset and I realized that chasing stats is not the way I want to spend my time on the game, I know how sparring works, so it's more of a thing I'll do every once in a while. My point was that sparring is fair in its perfect form and then you mentioned delay as if I was arguing for it. Of course I'm against delayers but that ****s going to happen.  

I meant banning "cheating" will ruin spontaneity. *edit* But I also don't take life so seriously. Some hacks don't have to be considered cheating; just a hack

You are the one who has been selective sparring in side rooms.

I started that account 3+ years ago, and reached 1,000 wins last year. It had less than a 10:1. You don't have to be jealous, just because a lot of people are better at sparring than you...

I added the account before you even hit 500 wins to keep track since you kept a low profile in the siderooms constantly with delay. Keep note this was before flags were able to be chosen not where it was based off where you were located on the map.

Kinda funny you call me selective sparring just because I'm in side rooms, yet you also participated in such an activity.

Creepy stalker much? Do you realize what you just said...? That's very creepy, almost at an og/dragonfly level. The only time I ever sparred on that account was in the morning when there was relatively no lag, that's how I got such a good ratio. How do you think people who don't delay get their 9:1, 10:1? They spar at night/morning. You gonna call them selective sparrers too?

So on my main, did you keep track of how many losses I had when I hit 10k too? Just wondering, since you stalk my accounts.

No, I find it fishy when someone wears the default outfit, constantly delaying, bad mannered as well, and their queue timing isn't consistent after they win/lose, all while having Player as their username with a 10:1 ratio as you have just said. I think almost anyone would jump the gun as well after all those red flags lol

I use the nub outfit, and player as name so people can't find me, and start stalking me like you are doing right now.

Besides it's a 16:1. Would have gone for 20:1, but I'm too lazy to wake up at 6 am just to have good stats.

Again those are red flags, I can understand if you got attention when sparring on your main and wanted to just have peace while sparring like a few friends I have, but hey whatever floats your boat. You have 0 proof the acc is from 3 years back and such as well.
