Ban Evidence
 

Just wondering why evidence isn't provided for bans when asked.
I was sparring in mixed room against Anzio with plenty of people watching and was hit with a ban screen for cheating and hacking. Unless this admin knows and has more experience with spar than someone with 10k wins and many others in the room, I doubt they were correct in banning me.

Due to the lack of experience from certain admins I think it would be good to provide evidence so it can be played back to confirm bans. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's been banned because someone thought they were vpning or speedhacking

I've submitted the evidence idea to toonslab but I was hit with a copied and pasted message as whoever answered my ticket couldn't give two ****s so please don't close this thread.

Like Colin said, you must be hacking admins never lie.

I got banned for hacking, I just sent a bann appeal. Got unbanned and they gave me a vip voucher for the inconvenience

And I didn't get unbanned, this isn't really a thread about my ban even though I am pissed off about it. I'm not the most loved player but most people know I don't hack.

tbh evidence would eliminate complaints about bans if they just provided it when asked

im not ranting or anything but typing a long paragraph never really helps you need evidence but what kind? They'll ask for your id and then they check why you're ban and it will say something right? Well how will you tell them?

Agreed, if they have evidence to look over to see if your ban should be overturned why not let us see it if they've looked at it 'after further review'

I think it's out of respect and trust towards other staff members that they don't usually ask for "evidence". They just take their word for it. You probably were delaying and a new gp thought you were hacking or something. Maybe a lot of people have reported you enough times to get you banned. It happens.

I pretty much lost all faith in ban histories in general when a GP showed me a screenshot of my history (which was probably illegal of them to do).

Apparently I've been unbanned more times than I've been banned (explain how that's possible), I have like 50+ "boost alerts" and "scam alerts", and I was reset in October 2014 when I had 61k kills and 79k deaths (never happened, never even been negative). No idea what is going on with that, but I can't even apply to be staff due to the way they've **** on my account.

Still don't understand why I, and others should get punished for 2147 hours because some new gp doesn't know what he's doing?

Can I get a dev/gp/ex-gp response?

Hi Albie! If you were banned unjustly then I'm sure the ban will be lifted if you submit a ticket. I'm sure there are logs somewhere that higher ups can check to see if anything was going on with your account. If you were banned justly, well, then there isn't much you can do about that.

Are you demanding evidence for your ban? Why would they have to show you anything?

Personally, I would love to see evidence for bans. I remember seeing a certain someone complaining about an "unjust" ban and then admitting later that he was doing some inappropriate roleplay.

I briefly saw the picture, didn't reply at the time as I was busy. Anyway, have you ever shared accounts or signed on to someone elses? If someone you are associated with account-wise gets banned I hear everyone gets banned, until you are unlinked and then get unbanned (just what I've heard, anyway).

Not sure how it works, but it seems like not everything in your "history" or whatever is yours and I'm sure the staff can tell the difference.

Read what Albie posted, cm literally just put albie's name in what seems to be a copy paste. I don't think he even cared he got banned, he's just upset at the evidence perspective and wanted to discuss it with others but then you have some people pointing out the obvious...

There's no need for evidence to be provided, I'm just letting Albie know the best thing he can do as a player in this situation :)

Yes, assure him of the obvious which I'm sure he's well aware of lol. I don't see why evidence shouldn't be provided anyways, league of legends provides evidence when a player is banned for toxic behaviour iirc.
