I would even settle for 500 ms lag cap. Just sparred this person called "s-12" and couldn't even see him/her move for 2-3 seconds at a time. Why is that being allowed in the arena?

Better yet. If you aren't in Texas (where the server is at) then you don't get to play cause ping is too much. There. I swear you people will never shut up after losing to someone who lags. Sarah beats me all the time, never see me cry about her living far from the server. |

60% of income comes from US. Highest lag areas (other) make up 12% To me, fixing the server isn't so I can beat people. It's just to have a better experience and a more positive community. So telling people to shut up, just shows that you are probably one to easily give up on things. |

I'm no business major but that sounds like a horrible decision to me. |

My post jokingly discussed all foreign regions. Leaving only America. You said yourself America was 60% of the income. 100-60=40. You lose 40. Keep 60. I mean as long as people are complaining about even Canadians and Mexicans lagging we only have the US right? This whole topic is ****ing ridiculous. People lose spars then care enough to actually attempt at cutting off parts of the world from playing graal with a ping cap. I'm beating a dead horse though. It's already been said that this idea is bad, and a fluctuating ping idea won't work. Should just close it. Edit: Relooked at the pie chart- Great Britain and Australia (which are also constantly referred to as delaying regions) make up 11 percent, added to the 24 of other, making 35. That's even if we assume people didn't say Canadians lagged, but they do. Add in Canada and look-44%. Either way you look at it that's a ton of profit you would lose and I pray you don't actually reply and say you would make this decision. |

The 12% have the nastiest lag, while the other regions don't have as much as they do. 100% - 12% = 60%?... 100% - 60% = 12%?... http://www.accountingcoach.com |

Also it's flawed logic to change the number I used in the computation to make it wrong then proceed to insult my basic subtraction skills... You should go into media as a profession though cause it seems to work there! |

And I've said this countless times that it's not "foreign players". Many foreign players I spar are fine. I am talking about the handful of players that get away with murder due to their intensified delay or have super ****ty internet. There are even some "americans" who have super ****ty internet. I don't see how stopping less than 1 percent of sparrers from sparring would really hurt the game. I'm also not talking about the average delayer. I'm fine with some delay. You can at least spar them somewhat. I am talking about people who jump from one end to the other over 3-4 seconds, giving a delayed teleporting effect. So get out of here with the "if you're a good sparrer you'll win" crap. For the average delayer I will agree with you. But for the handful of people who shouldn't be allowed to spar until they fix their internet connection, I won't just accept that it's okay. Also, the type of lag I am talking about has little to do with the servers location or the servers in general. Because then more foreign players would be like what I have described. But their internet seems more than capable. |

Also, definitely not less then 1% of people exhibit warp, much less delay. |

I can only speak from personal experience, but I spar around 50-60 different people a day that I play. Most days I only encounter 1-2 people with the lag I'm talking about, if any. But I can't conclude on the percentages with such a small sample size. |

Basically most of these problems stem from the server not holding up too well. |
