Anet never put it out on Steam. Didn't want their game dropping too low in price I guess. Still very much worth the money, usually goes on sale 50% off anyway. BLACKGATE #1 SERVER S1 WORLD CHAMPIONS (jk JQ until someone/some guild makes me transfer somewhere else again) but to those who are on JQ we should organize a roaming party sometime or something. getting super bored of JQ WvW since lack of GvG guilds and since the megaserver was introduced I feel like transferring again

Really wanna get this game, but not 100% sure if I'll be able to stick to it and actually get to 80, since in most games I never stick around. Usually get to like 20ish and get bored for no reason. Does anyone know when the next sale is though? |

They're considerably frequent, so you shouldn't be waiting too long. eBay is also another option and pretty reliable. Also the way leveling works is that experience scales dynamically/individually for your own level, so all experience gains no matter what level you're at are % gains, not flat gains so there isn't diminishing return. i.e. If you're a level 20 and you complete an event, you'll get 10% of the exp required for level 21, and if a level 79 completes the exact same event, they'll also receive the same 10%. Makes leveling a ton easier and not as much as an intimidating grind compared to other MMOs. Leveling is casualized, but the endgame is pretty solid to make up for it. |
