why would people want to dedicate all of their graal time to gsing?

I used to be part of a large group of guild spar enthusiasts who woke up early on Saturdays to spar with foreign friends for a few hours. Some spoke no common tongue, some only logged on for that day. But we made great friends and had memorable times that I wouldn't trade away if given the chance. Everyone had a lot of fun. I guess this was about.. 2010?

I think our common phrases that we played around with mostly died out by now.. Anyone remember "There's an eel in my hovercraft!" or "BOWOWOWOWOWOWOW" spamming all over the screen?

I remember the phrase BOWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOW but I never knew what it was. Maybe it was because I was new to the game  

Pretty sure it started because of the player named BOWOWOWOWOW  

admins went ahead and implemented my singles sparring leaderboard and I'm pleased with it thus far, but they still haven't implemented the catch-all fix for almost everything guild-related on Graal

make time-based restrictions and it literally improves things across the board

• must be in a guild for 24 hours before you're able to enter and stay in a tower on that tag (kills "noob recruiting" and makes towering actually about choosing a quality guild, yet still allows PKers to enter and participate)
• must be in a guild for 24 hours before you're allowed to GS on that tag (cuts into boosting up points in GS by recruiting people at random to help)
• must be in a guild for 1 week before you're able to accept a GST invitation for that team (works together with the previous rule and eliminates this whole scramble for a team thing that makes it a "team spar tournament" rather than an actual guild thing)

"OH GOD, YOU MEAN TOWERING IS NO LONGER ABOUT SPAMMING THE RECRUIT BUTTON ON EVERYONE THAT WALKS BY? TERRIBLE IDEA THALLEN"
"WOW I ACTUALLY HAVE TO KIND OF COMMIT MYSELF TO A GUILD ANY LONGER THAN 1 HOUR BEFORE THE GST STARTS? THIS IS TOTAL BULL****"

Pretty sure it started because of the player named BOWOWOWOWOW

Yeah, we were goofing off with her at Deadwood tower when Magic was attacking and we used lanterns and spammed her name across the screen so anyone who made it to the top of the tower couldn't stay connected and would lag out.
