Clientside the darkness then. So it matches the time on your device. (You could change the time, changing the darkness setting but not if the time is via internet.)

There have been plans for a lot of this already. In fact, a day-night system has already been on the server; just disabled. Will probably be making clocks and such (furniture) as well for a servertime.

And Why make it mandatory not all ppl likes night effect,it will be rather useless for pkers.

They added this with the new clocks:
Minute hand-moves one click every 10 real seconds
Hour hand-move one click every 10 real minutes
