If they ever implement proper analog support, you'll see just how horrible it is in its current state. Analog gives you control based on how far you tilt the control stick. Tilt it a little and you move a little, tilt it all the way and it moves faster. This gives players precise control when needed, yet lets you turn fast, and even whip around instantly if needed(instead of slooooooowly turning around). The method they have now is primitive, and honestly just bad design. |

Played today and finally made some solid progress, got lots of coal and iron to start off with. Saved and quit and it crashed my entire Xbox while it was saving. Lost my progress. This is stuff I tolerated while Minecraft was in Alpha and Beta, but this **** shouldn't happen when it's launched as a title on Xbox. |

I don't like the blur when I look around. Also, I feel it turns too slow, then when I crank up the sensitivity, it's fast like on PC but uncontrollable and not very precise. |

I theoretically paid $20 for the game. I shouldn't have to worry about losing hours of progress every time I quit the game. I didn't pay to be a beta tester(especially since it's not advertised as such, like Minecraft was when it was being sold in alpha/beta phase). If this were to happen with any other game that you bought from a store, would it be just as easily shrugged aside? I doubt it. I think players are sort of blinded by Minecraft's weird climb to fame where they got so used to playing Alpha/Beta that they think this sort of thing is okay. I had the same feeling when Minecraft went "full" yet was still so chalk full of bugs. Hell, Minecraft PC is STILL full of an amazing amount of bugs, yet it people seem to just ignore them... but any other game with a bug list as long as Minecraft? Think it'd fair so well? Doubt it. This is just my opinion on a sort of different subject, that I wish players would open their eyes and realize that once a game is advertised as a full product(more importantly, being sold at full price), this whole "it's a bug expect it to be fixed in the future" **** shouldn't be tolerated. |
