N64 looks HORRIBLE. Not even like, the graphics themselves, but the fact that the N64 outputted like 240i resolution. You're better off investing in the Virtual Consoles on the Wii if you wish you do it legit. I actually took screenshots a while ago to show the difference, and the pictures don't do it justice. The interlacing on top of the 240 resolution just adds insult to injury: ![]() ![]() A while ago I wanted to replay Majora's Mask. I have it on the Gamecube, which looks just like the Wii version, but it tends to crash randomly(pretty ****ing bad "minor bug" when you can't save your progress often. So I thought "well I can just play it on my N64!" So I booted it up and was ****ing appalled. I almost immediately just bought it on my Wii and had a much better experience. |

I want to play Banjo Kazooie again and I want to play Banjo Tooie again. Unfortunately Microsoft bought Rare and now there's no hope that those two great games will ever be available on the virtual console. |

also the n64 seems to use level of detail(obsolete way of making far away textures lower res), and the wii seems to not. hard to tell just by the picture, might just be the lower resolution. |

![]() The worst is the interlacing. You really just have to see it on your own TV(especially an HDTV) to really see just how bad it is to look at. CRT televisions alleviate the effect a bit because of the bleeding/blurryness that is their nature, but my gaming TV is an HDTV(and even on CRT it's still pretty damn bad). |

Like Dusty had said basically, 2GB would be enough. I have done this before. I used a Kodak 256MB SD Card and easily had enough space for everything. 256MB is 1/8 of 2GB. I'm pretty sure you don't need a 2GB SD Card. Even if you do, and don't have another SD Card, you could load it onto the SD Card, unload it onto the Wii, go back to the computer, add the rest, etc. Actually, it took me about a year to figure it out using google/YouTube. Which sucked because I used it to hack on Medal of Honor: Heroes II which at the end of the summer I figured it out, they shut the online down... Wasted all that time... I still once and a while (very very rarely) get on Mario Kart and make people rage by using the lightning over and over on them... Oh, the fun days of being a "hacker" on the Wii... Haven't done it for about 2 years. |

When I played on my N64 back in the days, I thought it looked amazing :o. Remember that this is a very old console, so I think the graphics look (for that time) pretty good. Anyways: ive never actually done anything with roms, except putting pokemon enerald on my calculator... |
