Im surprised that US got banned from gst and alumni didnt.
besides we all know how bad the gst admins are. Lags supposed to be a DQ but alumni has never been DQ'd.
So i could only imagine how dodgy a aplayer run one would be.

A guild that lags gets DQ'ed.
Alumni did not get DQ'ed.
Therefore, Alumni does not lag.

Also, I've noticed that a majority of players in guilds that Sparred against Alumni don't complain but it's usually the bystanders doing it.

But anyway, it all depends who's hosting the tournament as it could easily be ran flawlessly given the right people are there to monitor.

I think the idea was maybe 10 teams max. Note again that this was intended for the serious players, not just another GST.

Ok I see, but I just want to point out that it would have to be 8 or 16 because 10 wouldn't work.

A 8 team bracket would make the tournament easier. Instead of outside monitors, the 6 leaders(not including leaders of the sparring guilds) could watch the matches and vote if someone has excessive lag or other discrepancies.



Players have mentioned an automated GST and it would be cool if they added private gs rooms where players could go in and register their guilds and have the server provide them with an automated tournament(not sure if it's possible, but the gs community might enjoy it) it would require a hoster(can be regular player) to enter the guilds and organize everything. Also adding a chat for all the people in the tournament for easy communication.  

I like the chat idea, create certain chat rooms of sorts for GST to talk to friends who are also competing, to talk, ask questions on teams, check up on them etc. I obviously don't see this as a pressing matter but it would be cool.

I played Unholy Nation in the very early 2014. They have tried to add an automated spar for the event, but there were a lot of unexpected glitches occured and they never used it again.
I am not against the idea, hopefully they can resolve the issue and use it on iClassic too.

I prefer the term "cheaters", since that's the word used when referring to someone with an unfair advantage. Also @ Thallen's post, I'd trust Demrow with my money personally. He's a man of his word. If you're going to bash on this idea solely to attack Demrow, perhaps you should consider going out side, (weird concept huh?) taking a deep breath, and just think about all of the hobbies you could have spent your time on, instead of making 1900 posts on a forum.

We all know you'll never do that, but just constructive feedback / suggestions for the little men of this world your welcome.

You need to look up what an unfair advantage is if you think delay is one. Try sparring with it, get styled on, come back please. If the rules don't state that it's cheating or unfair then it isn't, plain and simple.

this is the most accurate genius thing i have read on this forum in all of 2014 (not including my own posts). there ain't even rage in it, so idk what the old dude is talking about. mysterious "fire surge" person, i am proud of you. don't be expecting any more compliments now. by the way: you should stop posting while you are ahead, or you risk posting something really stupid which is very possible as is demonstrated repeatedly by this forum's community.  

I never cared if you personally participated. I asked alumni members to sign up and they all said they had to ask you which they did and you then read nothing about the idea and blew your arrogant load on here. I'd actually really really rather not have you and just have your members participate on another tag, because your someone that causes problems, and your general personality and ego on this game are laughable. This tournament will go on without alumni and or any of its member but would be nice to have winter, dante, mk, aguzo and inevitable in on it because i think that's a good competitive team.
