Don't forget farming has its specialty. Unlike of mining and everything else, you can leave your farm and go do your things. Perhaps, you could go mine while your veggies or fruits are growing. Hence, farming imo should not be the best profit making job.  

Players who making the farm as a main job are mistake, it's actually a side job.
