Would i make me a booster if I spar 2hours a day anyone who enters the room instead of stopping to spar because noone is online to beat me? I agree, there's no competition but it's not your fault if you're better. It's still being counted as practise

I still think iDevice>Flash, I used both and I prefer to spar on my iDevice. I'm still able to beat PC players even if it's not 'equal' (who cares if it's equal or not?).

I mean, there are at least two sides to every argument. Do you think the argument would be better if you could only voice your opinion if you agreed? That just sounds like a catastrophe. I believe he is making a [rather large] generalization based off the representation of iDevice players that make absurd remarks on the forums. It is a bit overwhelming to overlook.

If you do not know them, how can you possibly identify them negatively? I know all three players you mentioned, and they are all great people and really fun to be around and hang out with. You sound like an absolutely horrible person to say something like that about someone you don't know, and you really don't prove any point at all. On another topic, this is what I was explaining earlier. People like this do exist. It is very possible to beat players on a PC by using an iDevice. And some people actually prefer it.

And I am speaking for the players on the top of the leaderboard, the only ones succeeding in sparring really lame. There is Abood who runs away from everything that is positive, same with Jack Sparrow, same with Edin though he isn't there anymore, same with Vlad who you mentioned.

Lol no. Last I remembered, I have more wins against you on a daily basis everytime we run into each other. 3-2 and you ran out the room. There are times I leave the room too, but that's after I beat you down. Don't call me out because you can't put your skills where it counts. I'm never at the top of leaderboard unless I'm streaking on high ratings player, which isn't most of the time. Also, I don't abuse the rating reset glitch, and I don't update my status about sparring everytime I hit top 5, unlike you. Also, stop point hoardering please. PM me if you wanna spar in the iDev streak room, that is if you really don't care about your glitched points.

I know that Yui calls other people laggers (same as Sarah) but Yui also calls people hackers, atleast she called me one after losing to me. I'm sorry but how shoul I prove it? Do you want me to record their reactions after losing a spar?

About that what you said about Thallen, I guess that I missunderstood it then probably because I didn't read it all. I think it's too silly to have the same argument over and over again  

Thank god I stoped reading at page 11, so I'll just start from this one..

I don't care about the other ones latency but I honestly get pissed off sometimes too. Of course I'm not showing it in-game and it's just a game so I'll just ragequit instead of wasting my time and anything else cussing someone because of whatever reasons they or I may have. But ping-limited rooms would be nice, too. I'd enjoy watch a spar where only people spar with a latency of 300+ms, if you're able to see there anything. :p However, I don't support that idea because it's just unfair. Another idea I don't support are rewards for sparrings. It's just a game, and it should be threathen as one (sadly this thread proves it's not). You spar for the fun, and for the challenge of it if there's any, so any rewarding would be useless to me, and I doubt it would motivate people to spar constantly at all.

Another aspect is people who cuss at spar, or have an awful attitue while sparring. Personally I dislike blocking people because it seems to be rude and once they actually need something they aren't able to ask you for help. I wish there would be a 'disable-chat' function..


After all I can say if you want people to be motivated to spar, quit posting on threads like this because it'll make sparring look worse only. There are either ****heads, ignorant people who think they're some sort of superior and extravagant humans being, nerds who have to reply to anything said in this thread (unless they're being nice) or just the usual spammers and trolls who make a thread go down-hill. If you want to get something better out of the sparring community and the sparring itself, I suggest some people try to change theirselves first, and start to get another attitude when replying. This thread has obviously turned in a bash/flame-war mostly.

You said they "are dicks", which didn't imply their behaviours after losing a spar, but thanks for clearing that up. I can't say much about Jack Sparrow or Sarah because although I have spoken with them in the past, I don't know of their recent behaviour. Yui, however, I know very well. I know that if she loses legitimately in her mind, she's fine with it. But anybody can get upset or angry at a loss if they think it was unfair. Nobody should be denied their voice or thoughts, even if the person it is directed towards doesn't like it. It can be frowned upon, but it doesn't need to be punished or used as evidence to call someone such severe names.

I don't think you should be all that offended by it, or should really care that much at all. I certainly don't think you have the grounds to call someone a "****" because you don't like the way they responded to your win when they thought something was amiss. Unless you think everyone should be happy and smiling when they lose, in which case I can't help you. I have a different opinion of people with this type of reaction:

The only thing more predictable than Comyts (very) hysterical status updates and fervent, desperate, nonsensical attempts at preaching whats "best" for the sparring community, is that somewhere on earth it will rain this year. If "hoarding" is logging on, sparring and logging off whenever you get tired of it, then every person on iClassic is guilty of it. AGAIN, if "selective sparring" is queing in the main room and sparring whoever joins, most people on iClassic are guilty of it. I wish I could selectively spar good players, because believe it or not that is actually much more fun. Now lets see a post about how horrible graal has gotten because you're "too good" and its sooo easy for you to get the #1 spot through abusing the /350 glitch (although you manage to always come in #3-15 while abusing that glitch). In summation, I will be the third person to challenge you to a series. And being the predictable mess you are, I will be the third person you manage to avoid replying to when it comes to that series.

Then that is your opinion, and although everyone is entitled to have one, a negative opinion would better serve the community hibernating within your mind. Using hateful terms like that to describe someone based off of one single characteristic is poisonous and rude. Things like that tear the community apart, and the Graal community has tons of split seems.  

It's based off one single characteristic because I don't want to know every single sparrer I use to spar. Things like this don't tear the community apart it's more the behaviour certain players have after losing a spar (crying, flaming, cussing, etc.).

How the hell am I "flaming?" If I was flaming, I'd come in here telling you that you're all **** sparrers and thus none of your opinions matter. I'd do what Comyt did, and come to this thread and make suggestions that only benefit an angsty teen ego. I'd insult people's personal lives and try to steer the thread as off-track as possible. But I'm not. I'm calmly replying to every person and taking a lot of my time just to have a discussion with people and express what I think would best benefit sparring, because I like doing it.

Have you taken the time to read my posts and then read what others post towards me? You'd hardly call what I'm doing "flaming" if you did. Winter and I are actually the only ones actively keeping this thread from devolving to some subhuman grunting contest where you all argue over who the worst sparrer is.

So what is your stance on towers? What about guild sparring? Events?
Maybe people enjoy those, but has it ever crossed your mind that they draw such a large base of players because they reward those who win? Why should sparring be any different? Does it really bother you personally to know that the best sparrers in the game would be rewarded? I don't understand that. Do you have any idea how many tower guilds would immediately die out if they removed the hour-based hat rewards? Try to draw a parallel here, it isn't hard to see.

If sparring is "just a game that shouldn't have rewards", what is the rest of the content on Graal? Honestly, there is very little done to incentivize sparring, so I'm not entirely sure where you're coming from.
