Mantises were spawning out of control, but players were fighting over them like crazy in all the areas, so no one really had a monopoly on them.

I don't think lowering the value is the right call. Because that screws over a lot of innocent players too (and technically everyone is innocent anyway. People were just catching bugs as they were spawning. Not the players' faults that the spawn rate was jacked). I even posted about this 2 days ago to try and grab someone's attention so this exact thing (price nerf) wouldn't happen. So yeah, I'm a little ticked off.

Thing is though man, is that people were racking up sooooo many mantises. I do not know about everyone else, but I was seeing some guys and gals get between 500-1000 a day; (myself included, I was able to get a good 100 in an hour).  

Well maybe the day and night thing and bugs disappearing is a sign that classic may actually get a big update p.s Dusty thx for listening

Yeah because rain is really an event.  

What exactly causes the problem? Was the code designed to increase bugs the more players are on? (Just like gralats with more people in the same level - according to admins themselves back in 2013).

Good, Now when people come yelling at me and asking what happened to there precious pixel that flies across there screen, I can let them know about this post.  

We can wait... Well I can wait anyways the rain is a perfect distraction for me *splash splash splash*

Fishing. Different kinds for dawn and dusk.


You know what's good in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night?

Catching bugs. Different kinds for day or night.

 

It's too bad that it was frogs.
