gates in mod..
k ive been away for 7 days and theres been so many changes ever since.. firstly mod.. wtf why put a gate ? i understand its purpose is to keep glitchers using the horse to jump into flag room but wtf? i pk there and every time i die then spawn outside...i idle (not even idle cause its just seconds) for like 15 secs to reply to a message then a pop up comes up "an admin has placed you in a restart point...." i pk for hours and ive only been pking for 30min today and already 7x ive been spawned in some random house sh*t...honeslty instead of just creating short cuts to fix a problem why not just fix the problem +_+...theres been to many changes with mod lately. plus the gates is just making it more easier for noobs to just sword spam to get kills...its not kills its just a cluster of people randomly hitting each other. edit: honestly old mod (with arrow spammers) was way better...the new mod is just too faulty e.g the spawn points for defenders and heal orbs. hardly anyone uses the healing orbs, once you get near the area either the defenders who just spawned or the noobs who has been waiting by the orbs will end up killing you. honestly alot of my pks are just sword spam now..theres no actual work done..which makes me guilty cause player kills are suppose to be earned not just received from random slashes. why not just leave mod as it was before just arrow proof? (thats what it all needed anyway..not some new spawn **** to make it complicated) |

Yeah I think old mod was 100times better all it needed was walls that stop arrows... Not a change of layout, change of warps etc.

you **** me off.. maybe delete your thread? Always contradicting my ****... nothings wrong with that but maybe explain what part of the new mod you like.. you cant like all of it cause thats just bs. Btw point of my thread is to inform people how pking is just sword spam (cluster of people outside the fort randomly hitting each other, no actual work done) and that the new changes just made it complicated, if the gates wernt there there wouldnt be an admin in stand ready to spawn pkers to random spots +_+ instead of them outside spawning players to random spots they could be inside in look out for chat blockers... or to that hacker that no admin responds to +.+

The gates were placed there because of people glitching up to the flag room with a horse even after the update, hope this clears up anything about the gates there

the red are arrow spammers..in blue is the small "jail" were people get stuck into..alot of people (mostly everyone who just spawned outside the fort) gets forced to that small blue area....even the AFKers, which makes it really hard cause their bodies are blocking the people inside the small "compartment" ...its really really hard to explain but this happens quite frequently. once you get in that blue are its hard to get out..you either have to unstuck or have to wait for the wave to die down. edit: idk why i quoted you...forum runner has been acting up today..it wont let me unquote either |

Players also left MoD and traveled down the sides of the tower to gain high amounts of kills in a short space of time. It wasn't a huge surprise to most when the gates were added and was rather expected. The old layout of MoD was better inside to defend and PK and that is the reason why users were forced outside to improve their stats. However there are still faults with MoD as Fireenn stated, but in another thread Azreal was adamant that the tower wouldnt undergo a significant amount of change as it has been the way it is for such a long time. Many will agree that the some sort of solution is needed but I guess it is up to the development team but surely through highlighting issues on threads will affect their decision. |

does no one see the obvious fix? remove the grey shield statues or put them back so the dont form the "jail". honestly the moving spikes in sardons havent been fixed ever, yet i constantly hear about the tiny problems with mod, and all these guilds declaring towers as their home, its no ones home, dont get so adjusted to these things, be flexible, youll be a better tower taking guild if you take opportunities instead of being stubborn. |
