Hello Graalians!

As the Winter Holidays quickly approach, Classic invites everyone to participate in our annual player-submitted graphics competition!



As always, the rules are as follows:

1. Graphics made between two or more people as a collaboration can only gain the rewards on a singular account.
2. NO copyright infringement.
3. Keep things appropriate (i.e. nothing obscene, inappropriate, or controversial in nature)
4. DO NOT use pure black (#000000) or pure white (#ffffff). If you use these colors, they will become transparent in-game.
5. You may submit multiple items.
6. If you make recolours, you will receive all the colors you submit but will only receive the gralats for the one hat. You cannot accumulate more gralats from multiple colors of one item. We also ask you only make 5 additional recolours/reskins for each unique item (meaning 6 in total.)
7. All submissions must utilize one of the provided templates. Custom sized morphs, mounts, furniture, etc. will not be allowed.
8. All submission must be .png file format. Any other file formats (ex. .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, etc.) will not be accepted.
9. No edits of existing content.
10. If you collaborate on art with anyone, only one person can receive rewards.

As for the rewards, players whose submissions are accepted will receive a reward of either 10,000 Gralats (for more complex items i.e hats, mounts, etc.) or 5,000 (for simpler items i.e bouncy balls, pogos, etc.) OR the submission(s) added to their account.

If you're interested in participating, you can upload your graphics to an image hosting site (such as Imgur.com) and email the links to [email protected] - title the email "Christmas Submission 2020" and include your preference reward, as well as your Graal ID (which can be found in your feedback menu in-game.)
Submissions are open from December 1st to December 19th!

A little off topic but if u guys haven't already maybe try letting players on graal know maybe on the news or something?  

Will we receive emails back if our submissions were sent correctly?  

Yknow who it is!!  

Would love it if confirmation emails got sent out this time around. Last year was honestly horrible with trying to figure out if you sent your email correctly or not.

As of today we'll be sending out confirmation emails to those who've emailed us with everything we've asked. A lot of times when folks email us something is missing, so from now on, take a confirmation reply as "Ive done it properly!"  

Are there only "Cute" and "Cool"? where are the other themes

There will only be "cute," "cool," and of course the general holidays theme for this year. For players making items, they don't need to worry about theming their hats this year as we will be sorting their items into the different categories ourselves :0)

Also totally unrelated to your question but since I'm already posting: You guys can make any items so long as there's a template available for it this year. I see a lot of people asking if we're only accepting hats, and we're not; we'll be accepting all kinds of items :0)

Yep! Accessories are allowed. Just be sure its the official accessory template and it's the correct size (some folks accidentally save the thumbnail) !

I'm working on multiple animal hats that share a common base model. Each hat is a different animal : tiger, lynx, jaguar, lion, panda, penguin, etc...
Would they be considered as reskins?
Or would a reskin be considered something like a cheetah hat and a jaguar hat?

Examples of reskins:

Reskins change the skin slightly of 1 unique item. Recolours keep the skin the same and only change the colour. Hope this clears things up!! :0)
