Like i've been saying. There's a counter to tell you when you start, I shouldn't have to do ANY of that to figure out when it starts. I should be able to just look at it, go "oh 30 minutes from now" and then leave. It shouldn't be this whole ordeal of cleaging chat or reporting players blocking it with emotes or banners. Hell, they even made the first half of the text on the sign render above everything else (besides chat but I don't think that that would help much) but not the part which matters for some reason.

Really annoyed with the current auction submission system and I hope it gets updated soon. I've been waiting here for hours and constantly checking every few seconds while watching videos and submissions had stayed closed for a long time. I went back ingame and started talking the npc as quick as possible and after about a minute hats just popped in with no text update from the npc at all. Why even bother right now if it's impossible to get your hat in. Such a waste of time.

i have been waiting since 7am GMT for the auction to accept hat submissions and i leave for five seconds and they’re already filled. p l s fix. pls.

Fix up what? you just disappeared for a few seconds this was not the fault of the game is not a bug was your fault for leaving.

— the fact that u have to wait hours for a very tiny timeframe to submit a hat, which is almost IMPOSSIBLE for some strange reason, needs to be fixed. there’s so many things wrong w this system. It’s unfair for basically everyone in other timezones rather than PST.

Maybe they should have like a half and half system where 1/2 hats can be filled in one time and 1/2 in another.

That'd still suck for a lot of people. It also means it's twice as hard to get a submission in.

We will be redesigning the queue when I'm not as busy IRL.

I'm not a fan of me opening the submissions randomly but if we announced a planned time then the server would be dropped to it's knees with everyone trying to submit at the same time -- as we saw on the Auctions launch day.

The current method isn't really 'fair' but it's hard to design a 'fair' system when it comes to filling 54 slots a week with the amount of players we have.

Give special perks for VIP users to have an opportunity to get the first 27 auction spots. The rest can wait.

Anyways, I liked the update that you mentioned earlier about the open submission/voting system. Seems reasonable I guess since everyone seems to have similar issues of not being able to submit anything within that 1 minute time frame lol.

What about having the submission period run for 12 hours, and players can submit their hats, it will be randomly selected, the selected players will have their hats in the auction house.
(Instead of the first people)

Each player gets one on the block. Whole server. Give them a time and day they're scheduled to be on auction. Reserve prime time spots for VIP.

Alternatively, create a silent auction system for normal players while cups get the public one.

It's not hard to design something. It's hard to implement something that best serves the community at large and make it exclusive.

Or... You could just let us trade LMAO.
