I don't see the point in you having to start another flame war on a thread. If posters trigger you so much, you should "prevent this kind of harassment".

Having the option to do so without hampering the gameplay (i.e. cutting out the social aspect of the game) would be grand. Glad we agree here.

That's is the thing. There is absolutely no way that a game, on the internet, can be a safe zone. There will always be hate; that is a given on a competitive game. However, there are already things in place to help people who simply do not want to deal with the hate. Or they can just ignore them.

If people don't have a flag to do it with they'll just pick something else, even if it's arbitrary. The issue with harassment isn't one that stems from the flags, that just gives them a specific topic instead of an arbitrary one. If you had no flag, the same people would just call you a no-lifer or ugly irl or something like that. Blocking after 1 annoying message is the solution that fixes all of those pms, not just the flag ones.

Then they stand there in front of you and spam random other people to get you to unblock them. Believe me when I say I block idiots who keep harassing... I warn them the same treatment for begging, as well... more than 300 people on my blocked list.

Calling some one a no-lifer or a noob is different than racial divides, though, which are avoidable.  

No-flag on profile means someone is either;

1. Connecting to a new router
2. Connecting to a router that just refreshed.

The flag loads onto the profile after about 4-5 minutes of connecting to the server.

If I honestly had my way with graal, I would instead of having flags based on country, would have created some type of nation thing on classic. Where your flag would change depending on your allegiance to the baddies or the kingdom of graal. If anything else, I'd have it be the logo of the guild you are in.  

When I have a VPN active before logging in my flag disappears for a little while before finally settling back on the American flag. It's only temporary, sadly.
