Yes 4-lom, It would be nice to have an option to hide your flag, Every person I spar with in Battle Arena automatically identifies me as a lagger just because I live in the Philippines.

Or you can put friends to PM's only and public chat set to friends/guild members. The options are already there for you.

Obviously you're getting identified as a delayer when your flag shows the philippines, if you can't handle the hate or trashtalk you can still block them, most of the people that trashalk are random noobs anyway so you wont miss anything out

Except it's a social game... so that kind of defeats the purpose of playing? It's kinda double weird for me as I live somewhere I'm not originally from, so I have to constantly explain that...

I think an optimum strategy would be to prevent this kind of harassment rather than force people to deal with it, no?

A large number of hackers and/or anti-socials like this seem to be players who start accounts strictly to break the rules so when that account gets banned, there's no repercussion. Blocking such people does little good, and rolling your eyes does not make the issue resolve itself.

Set PMs and in-game chat visibility to friends only then. If you cannot take the hate, just don't take anything at all.
