Nothing is perfect.

I want better a better education system and rights for the disabled but nah, people would rather have their kids hold up signs saying "**** you Trump."

Those specific things I mentioned above are not so surprisingly why I'm not a huge fan of Trump either.

Nothing is perfect

right...  

I love women going for equality but i get so mad when i see the feminists who go over board and it goes from equality to special rights.
Also got super tilted yesterday because majority of the girls in my school hourly posted the same sexist trump quotes and kept commentating on each post saying how awful men are.
Tilts the crap out of me because i was raised on always being super respectful to women and then they use one mans quote and generalise us.

Ignore them we are the superior gender  

Tbh I think extreme feminism is dumb too but when you get into extensive history courses in school you really see how ****ed women have had it in history and you kinda feel bad for them

And even today, it's not just women but literally any gender/race/culture in the world is subject to criticism from people all over the world and unfortunately that's just how it's been for so long now

OT: I don't really have much appreciation for the modern "women's rights" or LGBT movement, but these protests are pretty neat. (Not to say I don't support either, I just don't care.) However lately I've been hearing about a whole lot of peaceful protests which I think is a really great thing, this is what really pushes forward change.

There are plenty of people that that call me Skyzer IRL because we met or play together online. Nobody who knew me as Spooon calls me that, though.

Like Thallen said, ISIS and radical Islam is by far the biggest threat to actual feminism and yet, nobody utters a word about it.

Its always, "Trump this, Trump that."

Meanwhile there are women in the middle east being executed for just wanting to go to school.

Here, women can achieve the highest level of education but still act like its the 1920s.

Ya'll want to talk about privilege and rights, take a look at where we are compared to some other countries and you'll see where all that stuff went...

Who says this protest was only for Western women. the march was names women's march, not western women march or anything. Just women. Usually in Norway we march during the International Women's Day. We don't just march for our own rights, because Norwegian women has a lot of priviledge, so we march for our fellow women that aren't that fortunate.

Some feminists are radical feminist, and saying men as a whole is bad is just stupid. Some people go to far when they try to achieve something, and the radical feminists are usually the reason why many women don't really consider themselves feminists anymore. At least the word feminism reminds me of those radical feminists who went too far. Treating people with respect is very important.

Even though females had a ****ed up history, it still doesn't give them the right to treat all males like the enemy. It's like they blame all males of today for their ancestors treatment. It just seems weird IMO.

We've been quite fond of using stereotypes up through the ages, and to divide the society between groups of people based on their gender/race/culture/age etc. It's not something that's going to stop soon.

I don't want to bring an entire racial discussion into this but the same does apply to races. The DOJ even stated in their findings for Detroit possibly, maybe Cleveland, that the mistrust with the community and the police is due to decades of slavery and oppression that their ancestors had to go through. I mean that's a paraphrase of what they actually said in their statement. People need to focus on the problems they face today, otherwise no one will take them seriously.

I think the march was primarily anti-Trump. By that, I mean Trump's rhetoric, beliefs, and past actions (such as the Access Hollywood video) that have offended or concerned people. I voted for Trump and I'm glad there was so much support for that march. I had hoped (but knew it most likely wouldn't) it would send a message to Trump that the **** he says has consequences and it actually offends people. Too bad Trump probably wrote it off as "Hillary losers".

I agree that people should focus on the problems they face today, however it is important to remember the history to make sure we don't make the same mistakes all over again.

It seems like Trump is living in a fantasy world where his actions and statements don't have consequences. He also seems to think that there were more people attending his inauguration than there were. I hope that some day he might open his eyes and see the facts instead of blaming it all on the media.

not everyone has all the rights they should, though. Plus abortion is at-risk with Trump possibly replacing another SC Justice during his Presidency so they united in order to show Trump and the whole country that they don't believe what others believe and that they will be directly affected.

Being able to protest is also a part of a democracy. Protesting the current democracy is also part of a democracy. Protesting is important to make society move forward.
