Im on windows 8,the shortcut icon turns yellow and then turns back to normal but won't open no matter what I do.

Basically graal isn't opening  

Try running it without using the shortcut, it's possible the original client location moved so the shortcut can't find it

I did and that didn't work either.
It all started when windows wanted to reboot my system for some updating purposes and gave me no option to say no
Damn windows no means no  

would redownloading graal help?

Probably, I figured a way how to disable the updates but I could not remember how. I'm very sorry.

Also you could try doing right click>properties>compatibility>compatibility mode>then choose windows 7  

Fixed dunno how lol , whish graal was on a more reliable client like steam

In the end launching graal isn't rocket science.
