Creating a Website
Hey, I want to create a website for a game I am developing right now. I want a very easy-to-use and flexible website creator. When I say flexible, I want to be able to make the website itself more appealing to everyone when they first visit it, kind of like delteria.net. Do you have any recommendations?

I don't make sites too often but I used wordpress. Very basic though but good enough for the site I was making which was for my guild. |

I use HostGator to host my website, and made it with WordPress - very easy! There's also SquareSpace which I've heard is pretty good. |

I'd suggest weebly. With a bit of knowledge you can make a fully customized website and you won't be stuck to use those premade templates like most sites

Wix is better, I think. I'm planning on purchasing or making my own site portfolio/blog/forum type of thing in the future.

Here is an example of something I set up in roughly 10-15 minutes(sorry if photo is big - my res is 3000x2000): ![]() It also only took 5 minutes to set it up so to access this page they just have to type yourname.com. |

If you would like a custom website put together with hosting and monthly maintenance costs included, send me a message on here and we can discuss it as it's a service I provide. It'll give you a lot more flexibility than a Weebly site as you'll have full creative control. |

Use Wordpress it's very easy to set up and completely customizable with many many plugins and different themes. delteria.net is build with bootstrap i think (correct me if i am wrong) it's a more complicated and a bit more knowledge is required. Message me if you need help with Wordpress. |

Seriously, why don't you just learn HTML/CSS/php/JS/CS instead? No offence, but the fact that many "Website Builders" exist is just bad. When you build a website, you need to care about SEO. Site speed affects SEO, this is one of many reasons why you shouldn't use a website builder. If you want to make a blog, go ahread and use WordPress. If you want to make a wiki page, use MediaWiki, but if you want to create a website, use Notepad and do some coding! Once you get used with margins, paddings and borders, website creation is easy using HTML/CSS, styling wise. Rest is some php to do queries and fix security and JavaScript of CoffeeScript to make effects and checks. In my opinion, it is more easier to use all those programming languages I mentioned than GS2. |
