Weapon system idea

For once I'm not gonna bash zone okay. This is going to be a real legit suggestion idea thread. Please, no drama.

So my idea is basically the opposite of a pay to win system. So you buy a gun lets call it a v.1, meaning it's fresh and new and it has not been upgraded. So you basically work with the weapon until you get to the next upgrade. And then there's like 1-3 upgrades total (the more upgrades a weapon has the less powerful, and vice versa) and upgrades shouldn't always have better stuff. Maybe if a gun gained damage it gets less mobility. And the way you work up the points to get to the next upgrade is by getting kills or destroying alien ships. And you're probably wondering, people will start boosting to get the upgrades. But imagine this system with the "move to respawn" idea. And ofc since zone wants money there could be a way a player could buy a fully upgraded version of the weapon. The price should be 2-4x more than the original. I mean, it's different from ol West and era. I think.

I really don't see a point in having upgrades. I have no objections, but it won't fix anything. Stats would still have to be created - and they will still be created poorly - so they will still be unbalanced most likely. I also feel like there's no point making upgrades since they won't change anything appearance-wise except the stats, and new guns are made easily and frequently on zone, so they might as well utilize them for mew GFX instead of making upgrades. I don't think gun upgrades are worth the time when there's nothing substantial you get in return.

But mew makes them them in a soft classic style tho like the independent gun *i think I'm certain she made* and the way that looks well just visit west u will know it when u see it

I think itll add more depth and quality into the game and make players feel a bit more special, but not overly powered which is why downfalls come in with upgrades. Also, I used to think that the more guns the better since there'll be more diversity, though that's true. Its not like every player will have a different gun, there's always going to be a gun that will overshadow. But anyways with upgrades there wont be any overshadowing if things are done right. Especially with the current amount of guns we have atm (which is a good thing, not too much and not too.um. Not enough)

Who said there wouldn't be any gfx changes to them? A gun needs to have a cooler look after its upgraded lol

This could easily be hacked. All I need is to boost first then I go on ce and search up the string upgrade then I boost get upgraded now search upgrade again then I'll click on the correct files change the variables on it to like 1 or 10 or something then I'll be back to that level. Ez
