Summer Servers
Server supposedly can hold 16k players. With 4k+ on iClassic, and 4k? on iEra plus whatever else makes ~9k/16k? Currently, since it's summer, it is very hard to do anything besides idle This includes sparring, bking, frog catching, going into another level, etc Can't there be a separate server for when you enter spar rooms, and certain baddy areas? or Maybe iGraal and iEra should have separate servers? #Graaxit Would it cost too much to have a server to hold 400-500 people that enter certain areas? If they aren't idling, and are trying to do a certain activity, then they shouldn't have to be affected by the server count. |

sorry the remaining server resources and all profits from graal go to researching how to make the perfect baguette, there is no money for a new server.

I think that the flaw is how the data is handled as opposed to having too many users online. Ultimately it's just a hunch, but I think that getting an upgrade would be a semi waste of time, if we're gunna run into this problem 300 more players down the line, why not spend time upgrading the code instead of the server. Again, just a hunch. I could be entirely off |

(theory) If so, then can't they just let players opt out of what they want to be sent to them? Channels and what not, then the server won't be sending (in real-time) all the players to everyone around each other. Once a channel is full, let's say channel 1, then the next people that login are sent to channel 2. You can even choose another channel if you want ch. 3-9. This way the server doesn't have to send a lot of players and levels to you constantly. Max amount of players per channel in graal city? Maybe 30? No idea if channels would reduce the amount of work on the server. Maybe, they could send data a little slower in highly populated areas? These are all just questions, mostly because it's very complicated to enjoy other activities besides idling and chatting. I know that's what graal is mostly intended for (A social mmo), but it's annoying to have to wake up at 4-5am or stay up very late just to spar, bk, and what not. |

Just based on my experience as a player dealing with Graal management and seeing the progression of the game over around 17 years, I can pretty much promise that server instancing is out of the picture

graal management needs to take buisness 101 Number one is invest money in resources to make money aka sepperate the servers so they can have a bigger playercount so you can make more money. |

1) have the lowest expectations possible 2) be surprised when literally anything is added to the game but yeah Graal's upper management (not devs, the people who pay the bills) have always been really shady and I would never expect any upgrades server or code wise. If they're making money doing what they're doing, I don't think they see a reason to improve. This is just the vibe I've gotten |
