im pretty sure that's the same as using currency to buy something, you're trading coins or notes for merchandise are you not?

You "Trade" gp for gp items, you "Trade" Hs for Event Items, you "Trade" Gralats for Items around the map, I dont see a difference..
Oh and this is the definition of "Trade":
the action of buying and selling goods and services.

That still means it's a currency lol

If something is used like money it is a currency.
It's not like you'd be getting 5 melees which you can trade for 1 gun
