The whole concept of it is stupid, it is literally a way to make people fear some stupid being so they'll do as they're told.

I don't see the point in arguing over it.

Why do people argue over Religion, it is dumb and so is Religion.

Sure looks like you're just looking for a fight. You seem to desire an argument. It's ignorant to not care about anyone else's opinions simply because yours are different.

As for people who are saying that religion controls you or whatever. Some people abuse the religion for their own advantage, but if you actually try to get into the core ideology of the religion, you'll see all the worries most people have would go away. Such as fearing God. Hell yeah we fear God, but that's out of respect (I like how someone put that earlier, saying it was respect for God). I would fear anyone who can sentence me to hell or control every aspect of my entire life. But we don't fear that he actually will do that, because the Bible says he's a forgiving God. He had Jesus die for our sins, so that's a perfect example of his forgiveness. It's similar to a relationship with a father. You fear your father in a way because you know he's in control of you, but it's out of respect. You know he wants the best for you. Christians actually love God.

From what I've seen in the church "make people fear some stupid being so they'll do as they're told." includes:

Getting clean of addiction
Working on community service projects
Raising donations to countries and groups in need
Striving to live a life free of sin
Getting closer to God

So what is the problem with that?

You said the exact same thing twice in this thread, saying it's pointless to argue about it, yet by saying that twice, you argued. Then you posted this to get a response so you can start an argument. You don't have to be aware yourself of your own intentions behind your actions, but I am.
