Why we won't be seeing any new mobile servers

most of Graal Client Is dead

Back in the old days before developers made mobile games graal was a pc game and has been for most of its existance.

The most active servers would get listed on the server list while other servers were working hard to get new players to join them.

When graal started getting into mobile apps the system changed

most Servers that wanted to become mobile usualy had been a old pc server that became popular.

Nowdays the pc client is just dead.
The only somewhat active servers left are era pc and zodiac.
Most graalians don't know about playerworlds or are unable to get playerworlds.

We should stop designing our servers for pc and make them with mobile devices in mind.
There is little to no hope of a new pc server becoming sucessful nowadays as the pc client is almost dead.

That's a good thing honestly, until they start advertising graal, its really not big enough to keep having more mobile servers since it just divides the playerbase each time, barely bringing any new players. It is going to take ALOT for a server to be big or as big as era/classic because people have to like it enough to start from scratch and give up their hours, gralats on the other server

We are always gaining new players.
Many old players who don't want to quit but are bored move to a different server.were not dividing, we have gained many new players from ol west.

Graal would have to go through the steam greenlight submission process, and the community is the one who decides which games get greenlit.

So, it's not just submit and accepted...

Maybe they haven't made a client for iclassic due to all the possible exploits that players can come up with.

I didn't say we don't gain new players at all, I said we don't gain enough to be able to sustain an active player base on new servers. As far as i'm concerned newer servers like zone/west are borderline dead considering they barely peak more than 500 players online if that, compared to era/ classic gaining 3000+ on it's peak times.

Making even more mobile servers will just result in them having even smaller playerbases than zone/west or if it's extremely good, divide the era/classic player bases

If graal wanted more mobile servers (not sure they even do) they'd have to make it clearer how to go about actually getting a server approved for mobile release. I wouldn't even know where to begin or who to talk to atm. Not that I'd be interested anyway.

It'd also be nice if Graal actively supported developers. I don't mean the community, I mean the guys in charge (whoever the **** it is nowadays)
