I'm saying smoking weed should be legal because my friend received a ticket for possession of marijuana which caused him to not be able to become a cop in the NYPD.
And the people they have in jail over having marijuana is costing us money and costing those people time. Its unnecessary. don't know why you keep yelling about DUI lmfao

Oh that was open container and underage drinking ticket. And I'm complaining about that because most logical countries have their drinking age as 18 but America allows you to join the Army and get killed at 18 but not drink a beer until your 21.
And this is because some people lost their family member due to some fatal drinking and driving accident, so they decided "Okay because some idiots at 18 can't handle their booze, lets penalize the whole country of 18 year olds."

The average age at which young people ages 12 to 17 begin to drink is 13 years old.

Meanwhile most American youth begin drinking their first beers at 13. Let people do what they want as long as they aren't harming somebody else. If somebody drinks and drives, they should be arrested because that can cause harm. But If i want to drink a beer, I should be able to, doesn't harm anybody.

As I've already said, If he was drinking while driving, he deserves it. It has nothing to do with the legal age. If you had an open drink and you were over 21 you're still gonna get charged.

If he wants to be a cop then maybe he should've obeyed the laws?

Yeah, well cops don't get to "nit-pick" on the laws. No matter how stupid anyone finds them. Their job is literally to uphold it, and if you have a problem with breaking them yourself then you're not fit to be a cop.

Eh not true. My grandfather was a cop and when he was younger he broke countless laws. Some laws just need to be fixed, my friends don't blame the cops arresting them, they blame the laws.

He had alcohol... in a car... open. Doesn't matter what his age is. It's still illegal and it should be.

I don't know why you're pulling the drinking age into this.
