He was new. I just assumed he wasn't trained properly, or at all.  

People should hold themselves accountable to their failures. During my tenure as GP, I failed my responsibility as a host, and for that I apologize. It is worth noting that the following is not reflective of any past or current staff, nor do I believe all staff owe an apology. As a GP, you have a primary duty of providing a fair and safe environment to the players. When hosting, you are neglecting that duty in exchange of general player welfare. It is easy to fall into the misconception that events last merely a dozen minutes; factor in the sometimes 500 messages a staff would receives and that couple of minutes turns into an hour or two long ordeal. Knowing the tenuous player/staff relationship and the community's desire for more present staff, I take pride in knowing that I answered to my best of my ability every question I received however tempting the "delete all messages" button appeared. Factor in that I needed to devote considerable more time into responding to reports, hosting events took a toll on my primary tasks and my social life. Due to this, I chose to cut down on the hosting , especially during the last month's I was staff, and focus on reports. In the end I sacrificed fun for security. To all event fans between 2013 and 2015, I am sorry. TeeDee* (Would separate this into paragraphs if my phone would let me)  

I've seen at least five events hosted today in the time I've been on, and I have not been on all that much today.

I want to say it's only because of St. Patrick's Day and the limited edition admin hat that is being given away. Once the holiday passes they won't be able to host for that hat anymore, so they are probably just trying to give it out to as many people as possible before then.

Yes, we are doing more recently for St. Patrick's Day but I will be trying to host more in the future up to 1-2 events daily depending on the conditions.

Hello all! Not sure if anyone has stated this already but why not make events similar to activities such as Crab Chance in Destiny or Archery in Onnet Town? I think this way players will get the chance to play events whenever they want. The prizes should be similar to the prizes from said events. I think hosting events is a thing of the past and really unecessary. Btw, when is Capture the Flag gonna make a comeback? lol

A few hours ago yeah. I got into 3 events today, I think. So 3 out of 5-6.
1 normal spider pit, 1 super spider pit. 2 in a row.
Then at night, cliff climber.  

Oh and in addition, while I was admin, I used to purposefully place multiple warps just so the same players never made it to an event. I loved it. I loved knowing how much better I was than any repeating player. Think you could make it to my event again? Think again punk. lol

It was so much fun. Admins just need to stop being lazy and place more warps, which I know, sadly do not exist anymore. It was just a strategy that worked pretty nice for me. Those were the good ol days lmao

Sure, I guess. Something like that. I was thinking placing events in event buildings all around graal. Players would get queued similar to how spars are. This would keep the players mixed. There wouldnt be "teams". The prizes should be kept simple like, gralats or whatever. No more hats. If there are to be events, they should strictly be for new areas or buildings opening.

If you had bothered to read previous posts you would know why warpers are rarely used. It isn't done out of lazyness... Moreover, you were staff? Must not have been long lol.
