Even if they break the 1b mark it will still fall short of this star wars movie. That one broke the 1b mark like in 2 weeks and it still hasn't opened in China. Looks like it will easily reach 2b.



I didn't see Warcraft when I posted my original post, but it does look interesting.  

Deadpool and Suicide Squad are the only new superhero movies I'm really interested in right now.

Everything else I'm either not interested in or just tired of seeing the same ****ing stuff over and over again.

First Warcraft definitely won't IMO it doesn't have enough hype besides WoW nerds, when it's out and people see how good it is the later movies will definitely make a ton of money. I'm betting on Lich King being their #1 if they choose to make it, which they would be dumb not too.

2018 and the Avengers: Infinity War will most likely see the highest amount of money earned for any recent film and will probably beat Avatar and maybee Gone with the Wind.

Honestly I'm only watching Dead Pool because of suspicion and Ryan Reynolds. Can't wait to see how the Rogue One plot unfolds, looks interesting.  

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I hope the Deadpool movie tanks. Then hopefully the movie rights can be sold back to Marvel Studios and Deadpool can be in some of their other superhero movies.

But on a serious note I only posted the movies I thought would top the box office on this thread. Other than that, their are plenty of other great movies releasing.  

I'm only hyped for deadpool.
