While I understand that the removal of the all-time lists and the format of the new leaderboards serve to incentivize further competition, without any significant accolades to show for being atop any given leaderboard, a couple seasons down the road I would imagine players would care much less being that their efforts yield only temporary rewards. I'm not sure what the prizes mentioned in the news post are, so the issue that I'm talking about might already be resolved. However, I think it would be a neat and competition-incentivizing idea to add an 'Accolades' tab under the 'More Actions' menu on a player's profile. This tab would list a player's achievements from previous seasons, like so:



Something like this would allow for competition to yield permanent rewards, while still incentivizing competition for future seasons.

maybe for gst accolade tab when you click on it it lists the team and members.  

What I want to know is, which font did papyrus use to write those titles?

Unless player achievements are listed somewhere for everyone to see, then we are back to square one. What they want is to show-off that they have the highest amount of a specific stat.

As in some sort of section where others can view which people have the highest amount of gst wins/which guild has the most, etc.

Yes, if you don't get anything then the people who are always placing for having more time than you, will discourage almost everyone from even trying.

Your idea for achievements would be nice, when/if they finally add achievements, but it wouldn't be enough for the people who want their names up their somewhere for getting that achievement more than others.

I never cared about being listed in top 100, but it did feel unfair towards sparrers, which were the only ones who did not have a top 100 board (for having the most of something). Now, I just feel bad for the people who spent so much time, that were then later "robbed" of their progress. Sure, their progress is still there, but they now have no recognition of it, as if it never happened.

I would make a poll to see if people want the "all-time" back, but the majority of graalians aren't players who actually play the game to be at the top, so it would more than likely be too biased.

Didn't say it was not a great idea. What he is stating is not what the people who want the all-time boards back are asking. What he is stating is another side thing that is not what they want, which is recognition, something you obviously lack, since you are always crying out for daddy's attention and want him to give you recognition. What do you want son?

meanwhile i'm here with the 5th most spar wins on the game and endless GST accomplishments, pretty sure i have way more recognition than "the guy who spams the forums with dumb ideas and looks like the crimson chin" so if anything, i should be calling you my son.

also #5 all-time wins sparrer here coming through and saying that i don't think people should get rewards for being a top all-time player. we never did it for a reward, so why accept an ugly hat for it now? books in the library are enough of a reward for the top players. what's with you and wanting rewards for every little thing that you do? just play the game and stop begging for more incentives to play. if the game at its current point is not enough for you, log off and don't come back.

If you weren't insecure about your looks, you wouldn't be talking badly about how others look. That's a fact.  

Yeah my only complaint is the removal of the Overall/All-Time leaderboards. I enjoyed trying to move up on the baddy kill one when I had time to play, but I'll probably be less motivated.
Anyways, does anyone have any pics of the old overall fort times? I always used that leaderboard to look back at old guilds and reminisce.
