I think a cooking skill would be nice in the future - linking fish to be cooked/burnt/raw etc.,
and animal meat (from killing the mobs) could be used as well.

Higher skill level = lower chance of burning your food
+ being able to cook different foods which guarantee more HP from eating.

At some point I'm hoping for some progress on it but it wouldn't be for a long time since we're caught up in other things right now.
But it would be a great addition to the game.

I wanted to see what everyone liked in their own opinions.

Personally, it's a throwdown between fishing and firemaking in my opinion.
I really love the firemaking animations when making a fire, and my goal is to reach the diamond fire because it just looks straight up bad ass.

I love fishing because I just like fishing irl as well.

I remember seeing several era players during the 100 hp update saying "if it stays like this we'll stay."

Think of it from their perspective, Okay so they are good at era, they come to west, they enter a staff dominated game, the only way to get good is afk in a box for 500 hours, or learn to play events which aren't hosted regularly.


Ok bye back to era.

I like this idea and hope it's added along with being able to have livestock to use along with fishing and farming to cook the meat from livestock use the fruits and vegetables from farming and use the make sushi from the fishes in fishing. Also hard to decide my favorite skill scince it has to be either fishing or mining or crafting.

I hope crafting will have some cool items, as it's been under maintenance for soooo long!
