Most of you know Classic has a relatively small number of staff compared to other Graal games. For example, I heard there are 12 Era developers, and only 4 classic developers.

So I propose more staff teams should be added to focus other staff members attention on their hired purpose. I suggest:

• Spar Moderators - GPs of the Battle Arena
• Fort Moderators - GPs monitoring all forts
• Upload Team - When online, they would be able to view uploads that need reviewing.
• FAQ Team - Stops needless spam to those who don't have time to deal with it.
• Events Team - A moderators job to host events, not just when they have 5mins of spare time, like we have now.

These positions would barely need any training - excluding events team - spar and tower moderators is fairly obvious what you'd be looking for; switching, and cheating to gain unfair advantages. Upload team just needs to abide by the Uploading rules and guidelines. Lastly, FAQ Team is just an official bracket of helpful players.

Are there any other teams that would benefit classic?  

all these "staff positions" seem rather pointless, classic seems to be doing just fine as it has been for years

I agree with the events team , that way more event can be hosted ( personally I should apply for this position ).

I also agree that we should get spar moderators / tower moderators , however I think this should be one position as a whole and not 2 different roles , the spar arena Is not too big therefore moderating it should not be a hard job.

On the other hand , I think that spar moderators could abuse their powers and ban people with delay , which is not the players fault. This could get many players banned for no reason so the people hired for this reason should be very cautious about what they do.

The spar moderators would just be there for clear hacking purposes, and general hindrance of a positive community.  

that would just create an unbalanced hiearchy amongst staff members.. who in the world would solely dedicate their time to answering/receiving all spam messages? like kenovo said, the game is doing fine with or without said staff positions.

hacking & boosting is an issue, I agree. however, the only thing hindering 'a positive spar community' are the salty sparrers which consists of almost the entire sparring community

Dan is not our only scripter. Thing is, you really need to go into more depth...are you talking about like, a hardcore scripter or just someone who knows how to script items and do easy to moderate NPC scripting in different classes and on the client.

People like Layerd, iMask and Meph all have fairly good scripting skills too. Layerd is also working on CS :0 Anyway, why ramble on about Era in the Classic section of the forums :p
