point being,not everything in classic satisfies it's theme.Anyways,the point where classic server rn is needs to add stuff like this to attract more attention.

If you've ever played sumo, or I think ffa on UN then you would know that people camp during ffa events and wait for others to kill themselves.

GvG would be more like a War instead of just a bigger GS arena. You would need to focus on 5x the amount of players. And being low on numbers could seriously affect the outcome very early in the match.

I tend to disagree, I believe FFA would still offer a different situational tactic that isnt present in Guild Sparring. FFA is you being on your own, no teamwork involved just PKing against other players that hold no alliance. Whereas GvG would be the same idea as Guild Sparring just on a bigger spectrum. All in all, if any of them were to be added, I'm in favor of FFA (even though I accidentally voted for GvG) solely because it's more unique and would appeal to PK playerbase.

Why don't you remove them if more cannot be added...sports are much more older than you think they are anyways.

Look at the community...do you think they play this game to get the medieval vibe?(if that's the "theme" to it.)

You don't see Golf in any of the Zelda games, do you? Classic is solely themed toward a Zelda type gameplay, not realistic, nor plausible to our history. Though Golf may have been a game played in the past as well doesn't mean it is a justifiable reason to add it to Classic. Classic isn't based off of the past, it's based off of creative content that still plays evident additions to the server's true theme.

yeah but, you'll need a levels admin to fix the level and make it more suitable for PKing, then you'll need a scripter(s) to do a ton of work to make that. After get beta testers to test it, fix bugs, find glitches, then around 2-5 years it'll get released!

These social interactions aren't needed though. They'd just be simplistic additions to keep you busy for a week. Not just that, but they'd look trashy as actual content because it'd have 0 relevance to the server and its themeeeeeeeeeeee.

Nothing of the sort, keep it suitable to the theme. Make unique activities to do, sparring is an example of this. Add-on to things such as towering to make it more entertaining. Add what this thread was saying to begin with FFA or GvG. Bring back CTF, add more minigames. I could go on but this isn't even the thread's intent to begin with. I'm just saying there's ways to bring fun content to the table without deteriorating the server's image (adding stuff such as golf or football that pertains to nothing).

Didn't want to quote everything, because I'm on ipad, so I'll use this one.

The thread's intent is to promote Dozer's War room for gvg or ffa. Dozer's house, or a different house around it has a mini golf course pk room, so I just brought up that as well.

Anyways, not replying to anymore weird posts, unless you are contributing to helping out with more ideas.

Lol 25 for FFA? You sure about that? To me that seems like way to much, if I wanted an FFA I would like it to be 5 people max in a guild spar arena. Therefore skill will actually be used against other players and a lot more entertaining to watch. Not a massive sword spam (are arrows and bombs allowed?) fest for the survival of the fittest lol.

The GvG idea to me sounds completely horrible, I think a guild spar that you can get pks from would be fine. I don't hate your ideas but at least you want to make Classic better.

Also I'd like no-focus spar rooms which Michael has suggested in the past I think, which to me sounds great for 1v1s (but more space?) and a great addition for helping those improve in open environments in an arena like environment.  

The arena can always be bigger for more people to fit. 5 people only would lead to staying back.

Either way both ideas were denied, so doesn't matter at this point.
