I flushed my DNS and rebooted and it's connected now

Tell him to try that ("ipconfig /flushdns" in cmd.exe)

You should have read the signs at spawn so you would know to post your username and get permissions to do things.

There's no signs. nor a spawn.

There's always been a spawn. If you want to go back there to read the signs just say "/spawn" while you are on the server.

Update: Builders can now set 3 houses instead of 2. Veterans will be able to set 5.

Additionally, players can now apply to have their town added as a /warp location. Contact an admin for consideration.
