Sorry for necro, but I truly believe the source of the issues with constant freezing is the amount of customs in the app's files. Hence why reinstalling actually helps. Why? The app is not there, so all those really trashy customs that are in the app's files are no longer there. It's really a simple fix, but it shouldn't be nessesary to do. I have over 6,000 head files on my iPad Mini 1. Yeah, that sucker freezes a lot.

Well customs have always been here since 2011, while the freezing started showing up around Spring/Summer of 2014. Not sure how customs could affect it that much.  

It's actually the amount of them that is worrying. I have tested this myself. Once I delete my app and reinstall it's fine but sit there and afk for 10 hrs and you'll have a lot of customs getting put onto your device. The app doesn't put customs on the device until that custom is on your screen (or something similar to that). But this is nothing but a theory of my own. This is not the cause of server lag and most of us should know what it is. But the constant freezing in general could be caused by: Downloading customs as they appear on-screen or just having a massive amount.  

Have you tried defrosting it?  

I play at PC, and it freezes everytime i do a certain action(chatting, pking, etc) and i need to refresh everytime it freezes, it's annoying to refresh every minute I'm online, what could i do?

It didn't work, damn.  

The news made it sound like this will be tested and fixed with the beta testing :0  

theres actually a few oldold shields on graal that whenever someone wears the freezing starts on players around that player  

Any more input on this? I fixed another bug yesterday that may have been causing issues, and would like to know if anyone is experiencing any differences.

A 0.05s loop that constantly checking whether you should be able to pk or not.  

Still freezing for me.  

Pretty sure the freezing happens when it is downloading peoples customs like heads, bodies, shields. It also includes horses, juggles, VIP items etc (this is on an android view point, I don't know if its the same for iDevices)

Edit: The android app is dodgy. I'll research the freezing problem on my iDevices soon and give feedback

I know there are links to the local cache, but I was hoping maybe fixing things here and there on the server would help

Do the other servers also have this problem?

Graal really should be purging old files that are no longer used. Or maybe even not cache personal customs at all since the chances are low on not seeing the same custom twice.
