Why? People are appreciative but.. perhaps if classic had self-sustaining content rather than these odd quests that are completed rather easily and spoilt by those first to complete them, things might be different.
The team have definitely taken a step in the right direction by adding the crab mini game as something that's entertaining even after obtaining all the cosmetics from it thus being 'self-replenishing' to an extent.
But I'd say more could be done without the great huff-puff effort made out to be required, just small(in comparison to whole town projects) mini-games like bomber for example.

I'm not commenting at all on classic's ability to make content, I have no idea what half the stuff going on in Destiny is, but it looked like a good bit of content.

I don't see how "Hey Destiny was cool, Avalon or Babord now too please." is appreciative though.

In my thoughts, the players would've had fun with the content(i.e. quests) but that it doesn't take long to do or sustain player interest beyond the stories.
Then you go to get those treasure maps but find that because of the immense overpopulation of the server that you have no hope of competing purely because of the mass of people in both the bandit and pirate hangouts.
Then you might go hang out at the crab place and have a few hours entertainment there.
Then what? You go back to your bug-catching, dive-looting, bush-slashing grind routine and you want more content. It's only natural?

Tl;dr = I enjoyed lunch but what's for dinner?  

This is something I really respect about Classic.

They don't always have lots of content to release, but when they do, it's great. Especially when Dusty is basically the only person even doing work.

I'd rather have them release 1 excellent area every 3 years than releasing 3 poorly made towns a year.

what happened to the 'lets work on what we already have' excuse that was used for awhile then ended up reverting to making town (could of had it along time before you did/extra)

We 'already had' a lot of content for Destiny  

Wow just wait and be patient it might take about 4 years to release babord plus they should not have released Destiny until they finished all the quests, items, and areas.

I feel like we rushed them too much :/ I feel like they rushed themselves too much to get destiny released.

I have no problem getting maps at peek hours.
Here's the trick:
You pick a corner spot to kill pyrates. Get the first 3 hits in one and move on to the next one. After you get the first 3 hits, let someone else kill them and you get to pick up the patch/map. Eventually people rage because they don't get anything and leave you alone. Douchy, but it works.

Getting 6 maps a day and deciphering them gets you 1-3 hrs of iclassic entertainment.

don't know how you came to this conclusion. destiny is high quality to me. i don't see what gives the impression that it was rushed.

If you take your time working on it, people say "RELEASE IT ALREADY. OMFG". If you release it early, you get this.
