I am just sick of seeing all the old forum members leaving cause this sub-forum sucks now

But seriously complaining threads like these are the reason we need a mod in this subforum. Not saying I disagree with them, but these threads are actually giving him something sensible to delete.  

Guys, stop being so hurtful. Even though I don't browse these forums as much as I've used to, it's pretty darn hard to be a moderator. I'm sure Colin is doing his best in determining which threads should be deleted. I heard a lot of the controversy was from threads being locked / deleted that were veering off-topic. This is perfectly understandable behavior. The forum rules state that you can't spam the forums. Post off-topic threads in another sub-forum.

It's more than just off-topic threads and posts being deleted. Perfectly on-topic posts and posts going against the views of him have been deleted with no reason, and he has refused to discuss the reasoning through forum pms like he said he would. I think it really says something if this is the 6th thread complaining about him?  

Looks to me like Colin is deleting off-topic/generally stupid threads that are made to just get a rise out of people and banning trolls who do nothing but derail threads and personally attack people that don't agree with their stupid views on a game I'm pretty sure some of you don't even play regularly.

As far as I'm concerned, Colin should be rewarded.

As far as old forum members leaving over it- good. Let them. This entire website needs an overhaul to purge all of the idiots and trolls. I see now why people are so turned off by graalians- the lot of you are hell-bent on purposefully spreading misinformation on topics you have no idea about and acting as if you have some god given right to do it.  

Colin won't be 'demoted' regardless of the fact he has become a meme for the cringeworthy 'anti-establishment' / 'our voices should be heard!' trend. I went over the last few pages just to check and as a forum moderator Colin isn't doing anything that he shouldn't be. Well, with the exception of that thread where its entire purpose was to highlight a racial slur in an image (lets be real) ...that one should have been outright deleted.

I don't think that there's any reason for anyone to post here in an abundance of junk. If anyone is leaving it is because the overall quality is dropping and being replaced with spam and pointless threads. This is not a consequence of Colin being a moderator, it is because of people desperately trying to be funny or edgy. Maybe that's just the community we've got here now, but it doesn't mean that these posts aren't going to be removed.

Just like in-game, if you don't do anything that warrants moderating your stuff won't get moderated. I'd actually say he's moderating more consistently than they do in-game, but that doesn't mean anything. If you think this is bad you really need to go try posting on some of the other Graal sites.

Lets not kid ourselves here. iClassics "updates" are so far in between that it leaves posters with nothing to talk about. At least these "junk" threads encourage activity. The problem is not moderation, the problem is having one person going after posters that have shut him up in previous arguments.


Any noob can moderate towards the majority's liking and think he's doing a good job, but a good moderator will be able to find a balance in which both can co-exist.
