So if he isn't they have can't say they reject on staff inpersonation(even if they just picking random options instead of that lol) Maybe there should be feature showing who's denies etc plus there is a custom reason they can pick to say exactly why they arnt allowing (if this is just one person rejecting them)

Yeah there is a default smiley face that anyone can use that already looks very similar to elly bellys.

I spent awhile editing it, and making it animated. It's lame getting rejecting without any specific reasons

That person isn't an admin anymore. I'm not trying to pretend to be one. There is various heads that look similar. I edited a head enough to make it unique, and I still get rejected. At least could the admin rejecting me be professional enough to give me a clear reason so I can make necessary changes.  

Also not sure if same on classic but there is a nonhuman head rule aswell, so maybe thats also why cause its not really human like just character/bighead yellow/red..

Heads like these are sometimes tricky to decide whether it should be accepted or not as some rules clash with others i.e some allow earings but not a headband etc even though rules would state no hats etc

Personally Ithink anything within reason should be allowed (apart from having a hat on etc-something that would make player not want to buy other hats and apart from rude stuff/images /the ovious stuff that you wouldnt exspect being rejected anyway) but hey rules are rules..

My guess is it's probably elly belly buddies rejecting me. Otherwise they would of gave me a detailed reason of why it was rejected, so that I could make necessary changes.

They don't do that to anybody. Classic has all their rejection reasons written and up-loaders just pick the one that pertains to your upload. The "it is a bad file" reason hasn't really been explained, so I don't know what it means.

I'm not sure what that is exactly (0 black 0 white) but I'll look into it. I'm using photoshop cs6.

0 is the blackest version of the color black and graal uses that for transparency. If you upload an image using black it will show up transparent in-game.

The "it is a bad file, do not submit again" reason is usually reserved for uploads that can't be "fixed" or changed in a manner that will allow them to be uploaded. I can't vouch for whether reviewers use the reasons accordingly, but I'm pretty sure that's the actual use of that denial reason.  

Or you can just make your own smiley face head. Just an FYI that editing a head with or without a player's permission doesn't make it yours

There is an absolute rule that copyright does NOT cover type fonts, and that rule has been extended even to unique typographical designs. Also, simple symbols and common geometric shapes generally do not qualify for copyright protection. So if your logo is made solely of type, or a relatively simple graphic shape, the copyright analysis will not apply.

With respect to pictorial or design elements, copyright covers “expression,” that is, the artistic choices made in expressing an idea, but not the underlying idea itself. Technically, I guess one could make the argument that Elly Bellys head is copyright infringement, because of it's similarities to an emoji. It's a Yellow head.

Exactly. You literally copied the exact head. Yes, I understand that the head is a common simple design or what not, however it was a signature head of a weller known admin, and using Graal as a microcosm etc., that is considered copyright infringement. As you stated, "if it takes only a small part of the original work, and even if you add a lot of your own original expression." shows this is completely copyright infringement.

You also previously stated "It is a variation of elly bellys head. I animated it, changed the mouth and size of tongue. I think those were the things that made it different so that's what I changed. The rest is basically a yellow circle which is pretty common.". There is completely no variation from it, other than some flashing colors. Lastly, just resizing different aspects such as the tongue and mouth doesn't change anything to consider it yours  

I'd assume that it was rejected because of how it flashes back to when the tongue is not out.

Right, so if mine is a copyright infringement then so is his, because he is definitely not the first to come up with a yellow smile head. So one could argue no one should ever use any variation of a yellow smile head unless they are the creator of the old PAC man game or creator of emojis. Any kind of variation of a yellow head would still be copyright infringement based on those standards.

It's probably getting denied because it's Elly Belly's head. He isn't staff anymore but since the head is widely known as his head, it's being denied to avoid impersonation, probably.

Yeah this has happened to me with shields. I just wait an hour, rename, the file, and upload again then it worked.

This is what I've been trying to explain to everyone since I started gfx.
It's a lost cause though, nobody understands that and the ones who do don't give a duck about it.

What is fapping? Is it a reward for towering like the 1k hat or 20k mount?

But yeah, it's weird. I've had a few guild images that say approved then it'll be the same old pic. So I try to upload again, and they say I have to wait because I just uploaded. I'm struggling to understand the system, but will not give up because i believe!

Also, Can you change the size of your font, maybe to caps? Because I can barley read what you're saying. It could be my phone though.o
