Firemaking (FM)
Just a thread for firemaking improvements/suggestions. I was thinking we could make more than one fire at once? (This is for the ones that actually want to level up.) It would be easier to just go through the logs fast and get back to woodcutting rather than waiting for it one by one. Although this could be disabled in bases (multiple fires a once) so that the healing isn't OP. Also an issue is that it seems nobody can make fires on their iOS for whatever reason. There hasn't been word on this fixed yet but I'll just bring it up again. Feel free to toss in some suggestions or whatnot. EDIT: It seems firemaking has been fixed for iOS now!

I think it would be better if you reach certain levels, it unlocks special skills. For example, when you reach 25, the fire lasts longer. At 50, you can start two fires at once. At 75, the fire heals a bit more. At 100, you can start three fires at once. Perhaps you can even choose which skill you want. For example, 50, it shows you a screen to choose longer fires, or better health. I think this would be really cool.

Alpho and I are planning to introduce different ashes for different logs, then you can actually make a profit when you're burning higher level logs instead of relying on $5 ashes!

Oh so it's new? When I visit the Fire shop again yesterday and I saw it have ashes, then I'm like " OMG I DIDN'T EVEN COLLECTED AN ASH!!!!! "

It'd be nice to have it so that once a fire is placed, your player is made to sit by it. The fire will stay as long as you sit, and disappear the minute you get up. However, this doesn't mean the healing effect will last until you get it. The healing will weaken and eventually disappear fully over time. So I started fire. It's healing me at 10+ every 3 seconds, 10 seconds later its 5+ every 3 seconds, another 5 seconds and it stopped healing me completely. However I can remain and lounge around the fire until I get up. This would be nice for players who'd prefer the placebo effect of sitting around a fire over just grabbing health or speed leveling. |

For Firemaking the ability to be able to add logs to an existing fire would be cool. You still get the exp and say every 2 seconds you can add a log to the fire then the fire gets bigger over time and heals faster and more. So the longer you keep a fire going the better it is. Also make it were you can not break someones fire in a no player kill area(a safe zone) because it is just annoying.
