What happens if I log off while I'm in the exchange queue? Do I lose my present? I've been waiting for 20 min already (in the queue) and gotta leave soon...and still no present.

Nah. Consider a scenario in which you give a player a more expensive gift in exchange for a less expensive gift a "loss". Consider when you give a player a less expensive gift in exchange for a more expensive gift a "gain". For every player that gets a "loss", his trading partner will get a "gain". Thus statistically there will be an equal amount of "gains" and "losses" serverwide. From a theoretical standpoint the system is perfect because this equality should trickle down to the players who should have relatively equal amounts of "gains" and "losses". Sure, there's a little bit of chance involved on that end, but the system is sound. |
