How can I be satisfied with two episodes if they keep killing me with those damn cliffhangers?

Also Ef-Tales of Memories was good, somewhat confusing the first two episodes since they constantly switch between two stories going on at the same timeline. 5 Centimeters per Second, perfect example of realism in romance that can be found no where else. Slow yet heartbreaking series that is a must for all romance fans. |

I'm on episode 14 of Welcome to the NHK and I have to say it's a lot better then what I was expecting. I rewatched it up until episode 4 again, but this time with my sister and it felt more enjoyable than when I watched it alone.

Yeah. Another good thing about the movie that most romance series fails to do, is that the movie doesn't spoon feed you, as in tell you about everything that is going on and forces you to think a specific way. This series lets the actions do the talking with tons of symbolism, allowing you to interpertate everything on your own. The romance is never told, but you can feel it sort of thing.

Toradora: Lots of feels. Clannad: Starts off a bit silly but as you go further it gets more dramatic. Golden Time: I'm not done with it yet. Initially feels a bit cliche and annoying, but it eventually gets a rather dramatic plot. It feels quite relevant to anyone living the college life though. Mature themes, characters are living quite the exciting life. MC is a lot more extroverted than in most anime, so if you're an extrovert, you may relate more.
Im finished episode 10 of welcome to the NHK. It's comedy value seems to slow down as the series goes on, jokes get more cliche. It begins to focus on the story, which saddens me because it always seemed mediocore, and the comedy value is what made the show good. |
