Say you have a irl job.

You can work one hour and get loads of gralats with the real cash you make, or you could spend 4 hours on Graal (or longer) making the same amount. Technically buying gralat packs could save you money because you could work more hours instead of wasting your time farming on graal

People don't just skip work to farm on Graal, so it isn't really wasting your time. And it is a waste, because there is 10,000 better things you could spend your money on irl.  

I usually spend money on entertainment. If gralat packs give me entertainment then I know I made a good purchase

Not everyone has something else they want to spend money on. As an example, after I buy a laptop, I will have nothing to do with my money for the next year or so. Sure I could buy clothes, or presents for bby, but I am not an needy person/compulsive shopper. So it would really make sense to put my money where I spend most of my time, in the Graal community. And I am sure there are tons of people that feel the same.

I don't understand what makes you feel entitled to tell others what they should spend their money on.

A lot of people have an "entertainment budget", and spend a certain amount of money on going to the movies, buying videogames, blue rays, apps, etc. If they want to spend some of this money on Graal (especially if they play it a lot, anyway), what's wrong with that?

Are you opposed to people buying videogames? Because it's really no different. Let's say someone has $20 that they intend to use toward gaming anyway, so why not put the money into the game they play most? I don't see anything wrong with that.

I'm not saying it's wrong to buy gralat packs, but there isn't much that's useful to actually buy. Once you have a mount and draisine, everything else you can buy is purely aesthetic and unecessary.
