Hello these are ideas and my own Opinion!!

The way the old system of banning isn't a correct choice for classic period it consists of so many false bans and outrageous ban hours.

1.Have the admins look into the report and instead of just clicking the ban botton.
2.Hiring a new set of gp,I dont mean fire the old ones but hire a few new ones
3.Have a warning system because 99% of people don't get a warning for whatever they do but for hacking should be instant.
4.Have a staff to investigate the player,so many people file false reports
5.if u do get ban add a maximum of one month like era has done ive seen someone with 8000+hrs i think thats a bit extreme.

I notice alot of vet players getting ban for unknown reason it would seem graal loves getting rid of people who has spent some time on this game...all they can do is make new acc spend more money and adding t graal money books. Sorry about the mess im doing this on a phone and thx for reading

They do, well I'm assuming they do otherwise it would be ridiculous and half the server would be banned. I'm pretty sure staff need proof to ban someone anyway.

I'm pretty sure they do have a warning system, at least they used to. I doubt they warn for more serious offences such as hacking and severe vulgarity as that sort of thing deserves an instant ban. I'm pretty sure they would investigate the player by actually seeing if they committed the offence they were reported for, they don't just ban everyone who is reported.

For certain offences maybe. The problem with short bans is that people don't always learn from what they have done and might go on and do the exact same thing they were banned for as soon as they are unbanned, long bans are a sort of way of scaring people by stopping them from committing future offences as well as being a punishment.  

8000+ hours is a year. If they were banned for a year it was for repeatedly committing one of the more serious offenses.

I was banned for this long for letting a friend on my acct for a day lol.  

Or you can just follow the rules and not worry about being banned. Most people don't find pleasure in banning people for no reason. It sounds like you or a friend was banned for doing something wrong and you are bitter about it.  

They should remove bans and bring back the jail that was more aesthetically enjoyable.

The torture was the fact that you could chat but no one could hear you. You talked to yourself for hours eventually you went mad and crawled to a corner and began to think everyone was plotting against you. You're finally released and all you think is I never want to go through that torture ever again.

Thats more amusing to the staff, so why did they remove it?  

Ppl found a way to glitch out of it by lagging themselves to the point where the unstick me button would come up.  

Never understood why Graal didn't make more efficient use of the whole jailing system. I don't even think I played iClassic actively when it existed, but on PC you basically just sit in a level until your time expired.

Why not:

• Require the player answer a certain amount of randomly generated math problems
• Require the player re-type a certain amount long strings of randomly generated phrases or sentences
• Require the player touch some sort of object that constantly moves around the level a certain number of times

Atlantis actually had something like this, where you had to use their mining system a mine a certain amount of ore until you were finally allowed to get out. IDK, seems like stuff like that actually encourages people to not do things again since it actually demands a level of effort from the punished player.

1. They do check reports... Players aren't even supposed to be banned without evidence.
2. They do, all the time.
3. Total bull**** when people say they have no idea what they did.
4. Refer to 1.
5. Why? If all they are gonna do is mess things up why does anyone want them on the server?

This one actually seems pretty good, though the amount would be more complicated, like how would a 1 month ban compare to the amount of the required activity they'd need to do in your idea. Just something to consider

Most servers use both a jailing and banning system. Usually you only get banned if you are hacking (stealing someone's account/using 3rd party programs to impact the game). For everything else usually servers just jail you for whatever time they assign or feel like. So, if iClassic took on this approach is wouldn't matter about translating ban times.
