Event Arena
Picture this: When Graal was first released, players knew about kills but it wasn't such a big thing (Classic). As soon as forts and designated PK areas were introduced, it suddenly became more popular, and players got better at it. My proposal is a building designed for practicing events, such as Cliff Climber, Spider Pit and Chest Digging. These events could be played in small lobbies such as CTF used to be, with players paying a small wager and the winner receiving a small amount of Gralats (120-350) each time they win. This would also allow new players to practice and therefore make the most of the opportunity when they are lucky enough to be thrust into a real event for hats, as more experienced players can appear to have the advantage. So to summarize, I think this would be a great idea as it provides a new challenge for players who don't enjoy/want to PK and Spar. Later on this could be implemented into the guild system where guilds are awarded points depending on what tag the winning player was wearing. I personally would love to see an Event Arena added to Classic as some event games I have never played and I am curious more than anything to try them out without the added "stress" of trying to win

When Graal was first released, a lot of it's current playerbase were probably not even born :0 Regarding your idea, I think the circus tent in MoD Town had potential to be something like this, though that's probably just rumours. |

That first paragraph about PKs has nothing to do with the rest of the thread lol... But ya, Ive always wanted the new events to be put in a building to play anytime as a minigame instead of it having to be a hosted event every time. |

I like it all except the fact that if there were rewards, it would be prone to abuse. People could easily make money off of inactive or duplicate players by entering the event again and again and just making the others quit or lose on purpose...

The idea of events as mini games or in a set building has been suggested before and shot down. I think the biggest hurdle with it is of course the reward system and making it non abusable. They would have to set a lot of limitations on it and in the end I think it would probably be a lot of work. Which we all know that admins are not fond of. So it is a lot easier for them to run events randomly during their "free time" instead of investing their time in making something like that. The one thing I like about that idea is the potential to incentivize players into at least congregating into another area taking away some of the idlers in Graal city....maybe |

Thats not my point. If there is a minigame reward, it will be gralats. You give items for completing a quest, not minigame events. |
