• $80 • Alternative, Classic Rock, Punk, Metal • Full-Size • Close-backed • iPhone, Laptop • Above all, I want durability and reliability, I don't want headphones that start only playing in one ear after I only use it for a year. |

Grado SR80i would be 100% perfect but you said close-back and full-size. You could probably find an M50 around that range if you're lucky.

Does it really have to be closed? There's the AKG K451 and it's for 50pounds http://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-K451-Fol.../dp/B005LBQ7BY on amazon.co.uk, but somehow there's a high performance version or something for 100$ and I don't think they sell the normal ones on amazon.com |

Budget: 80 dollars or lower Music Preference: Punk Rock Form Factor (Type): Over ear Open-backed or close-backed (not for IEMs): Close-Backed Source (MP3 player/desktop/etc): MP3, Laptop with Beats Audio What's above everything else? - Sound quality (but of course it can't look like a piece of garbage) Currently I'm just using Skull Candy Aviators I got for 50 dollars on a special sale. It's at the end of its life (even though I used it for only four months, it's already wearing down). So something similar to that or has noise cancelling technology would be even better. |
