You go about choosing all wrong... so what if they talk to you doesnt mean they care, its their job, 'Player Relations' if they don't talk to you how are they at all gonna do their job. Which is where favoritism comes in which a lot of admins do ALOT, its so obvious why don't they have some other job where they are actually productive, when admins favor certain players others are ignored and they have no "relations" hence their job title, with the players. A good PR needs to have close to or no favorites, respond to everyone, and not be bias to new players or rule breakers. I don't have favs but by job description: (I tend to have PR friends yet cant rely on them at all some more than others) 1. PRA's(discluding Jatz) 2. High staff(discluding Manager, and server 'Admin'... not Stefan) 2.GFX's, LAT's, SFX's 3. Manager, Admin(WDM), 4. PR's PRA get the job done and are there for a reason High staff are trusted and have very few friends for a reason Dev tend to be general since their either working or their not Manager and Admin, escepcially WDM, have favorites PR have tons of favorites and really how do they ever talk to other players really... |

I don't have favourites, i dislike you all equally. Nah kidding, i don't choose favourites, apart from me preferring to interact with players who can string an intelligent sentence together or aren't trying to abuse me for absolutely no reason (which some players seem to think they're obligated to do) Keep in mind though, exactly how many players there are online, and how many of them need our help. I don't know about all of the staff, but i get hundreds of PM's a minute, so yeah, i do prioritise a bit, taking problems that say, the PR's lack the authority to do, and leaving the other smaller problems to them. If if you feel a staff member is ignoring you, be patient. Chances are we just haven't seen your pm yet because we have so many to read. But if your matter is urgent, simply ask another staffmember instead. If you feel no-one is paying attention to you, remember feedback is your friend. I often keep an eye on feedback/reports and probably read them sooner than reading a pm. So pretty much, I restated Kat's "Contacting Authority" guide. Hopefully this time it actually sticks in your mind. |

I have always respected the admins, even more so now that i have experienced it. They do an amazing job. Alot more than players like you, who are so quick to judge, get to see.

A PR can do his/her job without keeping casual conversations or relationships with players. A good PR is one who is able to punish even those called "favorites" when needed. A good PR is one who is able to help players they dislike/disfavor when needed. A good PR should NOT answer each and every player and should have the ability to distinguish which player he/she needs to respond to. For example, if a player asks repeatedly for items even after being told 'No'. If a PR keeps replying, the player will keep asking. Which slows the PR down in doing his/her job replying to those players who genuinely need help. |
