It gives everybody that's paying attention an equal chance. There's no skill in pressing a button. Lol, he said the reason he's doing this system is because there's lag issues.

We'll I was just gonna get into events but there no point in it now , I'll make a bet right now I won't her into a event anywhere in the next couple of months and maybe even a year.

Assuming this happens, that would mean that the same occurs to other players, since it's an equal chance. So, it would still be fair. You shouldn't have to play a game of map trivia to enter the event in the first place.

Yes the old system made allot of lag but at least it require graal knowledge to enter a event ... Now watch noobs who come play graal for literally a day get into stupid events , win chance or something and quit the next day.

Maybe they'd play graal more than a day if participating in an event didn't require that they have complete knowledge of the world map? Anyway, you shouldn't care who wins, if it isn't you, then it really doesn't matter. Either way you lose, and either way somebody wins.

Also u say it's to laggy when you host a event in the server we'll do something about the stupid sever it self , it's laggy most the time anyways and it has made things like spar not depend so much in skill any more but on player lag...

No need to yell at him for something he has no control over? Not to mention, it's already been said that the majority of lag comes from players huddling in a level, not the server itself. You're talking about server lag, then saying that spar is affected by player lag? That doesn't really make sense, so I'll assume you meant to say server lag. If everybody has about the same amount of server lag, then it shouldn't matter since both players have the same handicap.

This stupid sever can't hold 3k with out making everything lag , so what fk you plan to do when it reaches 4k or even 5k I the server don't crash by then ...

Not sure if you know, but a companion server for classic is being worked on, with this being one of the main purposes. 5k player -> 2 servers = 2.5k players per server. Anyway, I doubt we'll reach 5k players by the end of 2014.

Honestly, I'm sure you'd rather have some event system then no event system. Some players actually like it, since it doesn't involve running around a map and now you can do events without leaving activities to find a warper.  

I think the average number of people who join the queue should be checked, then the amount of time the queue is open should be adjusted accordingly. If all 3000 players are able to join the queue in 30sec, and the warper only accepts 30 players, theres only a 1% chance of being selected. If the join time were cut to 15-20seconds, fewer people will be able to join, giving better chances of being selected. (as I type this, for some reason i think of the Hunger Games)

Not sure if this was thought of: People who are inside towers, spar rooms, or other places where event warps are prevented, should be excluded from the queue to prevent wasted space. (Unless its possible to warp into an event while inside a tower/spar?)

I can add those to the list of players ignored, yes. I may also add like... Preference modes for staff to choose. Ie, newbie only, veterans only, girls only... Boys only and so on to allow them to further narrow down the list. It wouldn't be done all the time, but it would be something different I think.

Though I'm curious, why not allow players in towers? It isn't like sparring where you are currently obligated to finish a spar. Towering is a bit in and out... attend and leave as you choose, no?

The server has reached 3995 players when gifts could be opened and never crashed. As long as everybody isnt in the same level its fine.

Yes it disentangle crash !! But all I saw around graal was people teleporting 100 pixels at a time  

How do you queue in event ? Scaal just hosted a chance and he said To queue and get to event, i rushed into battle arena and join queue is that how ?

Basically where the reply bottom is normally there should be a option that says queue and don't queue , and bassi ally you press this bottom along with 3k other people and you have a 1/3000 change of getting in, GL getting in rofl  

I have yet to see it... sounds good though

Like i pointed out before people need to read when something new is introduced.

I agree with having ways to narrow down the field, however i dont know about trying to limit it to specific groups. As far as excluding people in towers i dont see why not include them. I tower with so many people that ditch the tower at the slightest sign of an event anyways.

Maybe it would be possible to make an event map area for h n s. Its not hard to do with the furniture layering system my friends in ufo do it all the time.
You could do the same for juggernuat just warp in 35-65 random qued players to an area and pk the admin. Thus saving us from lag until another idiot admin forgets and drops a warper again.

Maybe if there were a special notification for it (like the blue and white pop up that tells you when you have to get off your mount before leaving your house) that covers your screen, it would be a little easier to deal with. As it is, I totally missed it, thinking it was chat chatter, and didn't notice until sorting thru the chats...
