And, using the net is not fun, especially when you get directly on them without getting the candy.

Actually, the ghost has the largest hitbox for the net over all other things that the net has been used for. It is incredibly easy to catch candy from a ghost.

It's random to if you get the candy, it's random swinging and luck. Sorry, but sitting and waiting for the candy to drop and walking over it was way more entertaining.

Candy will not expire until 30 days later. I just double, triple check the code. Also I ran a script to tell me when the few candies I had would expire:

Current time: Mon Oct 28 23:25:58 2013
Candy will expire on: Wed Nov 27 21:45:09 2013
Candy will expire on: Wed Nov 27 21:45:20 2013
Candy will expire on: Wed Nov 27 21:45:32 2013
Candy will expire on: Wed Nov 27 21:45:42 2013

Also, candy does not expire while playing, only on login. So there's no way for candy to "be gone before they are dropped."

Maybe if you actually participated you'd see how terrible it actually is. Please, record a video of you easily catching the candy. Wait, that won't happen, because even getting a direct swing on the candy won't do anything, luck.

Actually, it's not??? Requires fast reflexes and keen attention. Obviously you won't get every peice, but I can guarentee you have a higher ratio than it is now.

Don't directly swing on the candy, swing slightly off and you can easily catch it.

Do you get any thing from the candies?

I have to kind of side with Twisted on this one sorry Rufus. After running around for 30 mins I only managed to get 2 candies. It seemed like the bug nets where doing nothing and its even harder when there are 15 other players after the same ghost. I have gone back online recently but at one point there where ghosts all over then it seemed like they disappeared. There where even some that spawned in un reachable spots.

Another tip if you haven't realized it yet you can tell by the ghost's facial expression if they have candy or not. Maybe I didn't get to the ghosts fast enough but it seemed like only half of them had spawned with candy and the other half didn't spawn with candy.

I have problems trying to catch it sideways. Its much more harder. Other than that rufus is right about the hitbox on it.

30mins for 2 candies...either you have bad luck or your going to places that lots of people are thinking of going.
Here's a tip go to places that others wouldn't think of going. Also, some ghosts are inside places like angel clan. I got like 3candies in 15min probably more because now I have a total of 21 candies.

Go by Master Li's dojo, I got 3 candies in about 3 minutes. I have almost 50 candies
