Everyone can recognize that it's not completely fair to put androids against PCs. It's not fair to put iDevices up against Androids either, since they can use external keyboards. It seems like this issue will probably resolved based on population: - Either android users or iDevice users will be unhappy. - There are more iDevices users than Android. - Android users get the short stick because there's less of them. As far as Android emulators go, the very first and only one I've tried before called "Bluestacks" works quite well, so yes, Android emulators do work and would probably be a concern if dumped with iDevices. |

I feel your pain, Blood, if I was an Android user like yourself. Except you need to understand players can use keyboards w/Android. My proof is FloridaOrange (Helsing), whom stated he was using his keyboard w/an Andoid. It's not that anyone is scared/threatened, there just need to be in order in the GST. iDev vs. iDev, Mixed vs Mixed. Throwing Android in is popularity wise, if majority of the server want this change, it WILL happen. How you think " Mixed GST" came about? Blood, just play on an iDevice for this upcoming tournament.

Personally, my cell phone is an android. Although I use it often, I cannot spar at all. Whenever i want to spar, I whip out the old ipod. The buttons are more ideal, and not resized to fit the Android's screen. Even though I do use Android mainly, I do not mind the exclusion of these devices.

Do people actually think PC players are going to emulate Android just to enter a different GST? No thanks. I think I speak for the majority when I say I'd rather not be a part of that dramatic and laggy mess. Mixed GST: "GG, was fun!" iDevice GST: "OMFG LAGGY HISPANIC FRENCH IDIOT THIS IS AN OUTRAGE REPORT AND GET ALL BANNED ALSO BOYCOTT BATTLE ARENA I'M 12 SPARRING IS DED" Anyway, Androids should be allowed in a mobile tournament. This fear of keyboards is old news. I can use a bluetooth keyboard on my iPod, have done it before. Just because it's possible doesn't mean people are going to do it out of desperation. The Mixed GST is less competitive than the iDevice GST anyway. Why would anyone using an Android want to make it harder for themselves? If they do though, they should be able to. I think the fact that no godlike Android sparrer has yet emerged kind of defends this argument for itself. But, the day PCs came to the Battle Arena still gives some of you nightmares. So, yeah. |

iOS application developers emulate iPhones on a computer to test compatibility with the device software before testing it on an actual iOS machine. Android can be emulated in a similar way. No difference there. Separating the devices for this reason is absurd. Android keyboards are buggy with Graal from what I hear. Even though there are some that may work, iOS devices also have keyboards and controllers you can buy and attach, if I'm not mistaken. If they don't just yet, I'm pretty sure I heard about some new iPhone and iPad keyboards and controllers that are on the way. I don't see a difference between the two. I still think it's crazy that we are separating our community because of minute differences in technology, but I understand the reasoning behind the keyboard/touchscreen advantages theory. If we can disprove the notion that Androids are easier to take advantage of than iPhones, I don't see why they need to be segregated in an online community. |

It's not hard to realize that androids and idevices are pretty much the same. If one lacks something, the other will have it and vise versa. Glad to know i'm not the only. If androids are this much of a big deal to the graal community don't bother putting them with idevices. Shouldn't have released on google play then. It's hard for staff members to understand the concept. Apparently the setup on an android have special superman powers that the idevice can't handle. Just amazing how the staff thinks every android will use some kind of external output to play graal on just for one day. This is pretty much upsetting to know that i'll probably and other android users alike will have to go vs pcs because we dont have an "i" in front of "android". GG Graal.
