but Gta V is probably by far the best game iv played so far.  

I hate Trevor so much. I don't like playing as him. I hope he gets killed off at the end of the story.  

I kind of love/hate him. He's such a huge **** but he can be funny.

On a side note, Wade reminds me a lot of Caboose from RvB.

Yes you can drive planes.
You can buy your own houses after you complete the second or third mission of the third character that is playable. (you have to unlock him by completing the other two character missions).
The fastest cars imo are the fancy looking ones that usually drive by the rich character ( the second one you unlock) house.

I swear if anyone else posts spoilers of the game, I will hate you for life. Even though I am like 5 missions away from the ending it is not fair to other members who have not got the game yet and plan to, or are just messing around and doing the story later. Please use spoilers and announce that the spoiler contains pieces of the story no matter how small of detail you think it is. Everyone has the right to experience the game unspoiled.

Also, what are your guys thoughts on the torture controversy? It's going around a lot now since the game is out. If you are unfamiliar with it: minor spoiler below

Trevor tortures a guy in the story to get information. This is not optional and must be done to progress. There are several torture devices and you must use them all to get the gold ranking.

I saw no problem with it, when buying a GTA game you know that violence and stuff is a big part so it is just a variation on that, I do see why some were annoyed with it though.

Lmao I was just sitting in the back of a train crouching in the back of it with 5-Star police chasing me, vehicles are too sclow to chase the train, helicopters are easy to take out (Shoot the guy gunner then the driver, ka-boom.) Repeat lol.  

I've played the game for 15+ hours and I haven't even explored outside the city limits yet. I feel bad because I feel like I'm rushing too fast through the campaign!

Yeah, that's fun. I always challenged myself to make it to the front of the train and kill the operator. It would be fun to fight other players on that thing.  

Can someone explain to me how online is going to work? It sounds like chaos.  

i beat the campaign last night.

online is everything you can do in single player, but with 16 people roaming the world. You also get access to an in game editor to make races, deathmatches and such. Also, Online has its own story/missions from what I understand.

I agree. I think that people want to pin things on video games so much. One of the people went to the argument that children are easily influential which goes back to the point of bad parenting. Playing it did make me a little uneasy at times, but not to the point where I felt like I needed to stop playing, and I think it making you feel uneasy was the point to begin with.  

Trevor is amazing. His character is just hilarious, even though he acts like a jerk he is just awesome. Franklin is also pretty cool, he is my favorite character. Michael was pretty cool at first but I think I liked him just because he was the mentor of Franklin and rich. But when Franklin got his second house I liked Franklin more. Lamar is pretty cool even though you don't get to see him much later in the game. In my opinion Lester is just plain creepy. This is how I'd rate my favorite characters:
1) Franklin
2) Trevor
3) Michael
4) Lamar
5) Lester

Here are my thoughts all put into a spoiler.

It's a pretty violent scene but keep in mind it is a M rated game. I feel that it is completely reasonable to have something like this in the game. Just comparing that to other sorts of things that you can do in the game makes the torture scene like nothing. Murdering many people, especially random people on the street is more violent that the government using torture to gain criminal information. The scene did make me cringe a bit at some times, but it was still pretty cool. I don't see why Rockstar has these controversies anyways. They put disclaimers at the beginning of their games saying that they do not endorse or approve of violence and murder in real life, but to simulate it in a video game. Basically, buying an M-rated game means your exposed to these sort of scenes.
